Sarah Elizabeth Mills died on 1 April 1901 at Stanardsville, Greene Co., Virginia, at age 54.^2,1 She was buried at Mills Cemetery (Defunct), Standardsville, Greene Co., Virginia.¹

     Josephine Isabell Millspaugh was born on 4 July 1910 at Nebraska. She married Raymond Noel Bullington on 24 August 1927 at South Dakota. Josephine Isabell Millspaugh lived in December 1964 at Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington. She died on 15 March 1990 at age 79.

     Florence Mock was born on 15 January 1899 at Kosciusko Co., Indiana.¹ She married Elzie Merle Click, son of Emanuel Isaac Click and Josephine E. McClintic. Florence Mock died on 16 August 1987 at Knightstown, Henry Co., Indiana, at age 88.¹ She was buried at McClintic Cemetery, Syracuse, Kosciusko Co., Indiana.¹

     Edward Marshall Mockler was born on 3 July 1935 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania.¹ Edward Marshall Mockler was a Catholic. Edward Mockler died in Las Vegas, Nevada, on 15 May 2021, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Edward John and Margaret Mockler. The family moved soon after to St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended school and graduated from St. Louis University in 1957.

He later completed a master’s degree in management from Pepperdine University. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Yvonne, their son, Michael, and Ed’s brother, Gary. Survivors are his wife, Sara; his daughters, Beth (John) Poe and Laura (Steve) Schultz, and his grandsons, Steven Schultz, Ryan Poe and Connor Poe.

Edward was commissioned into the Marine Corps in January 1958. During his 30-year military career, he served two tours in Viet Nam and rose to the rank of colonel. As an infantry officer, he served in command billets ranging from infantry platoon and company commander to command of the Marine Corps’ largest infantry regiment — The Third Marines. Edward was lauded for his efforts in establishing the Marine Corps’ Infantry Officers’ School —the first of its kind in the Marine Corps to provide second lieutenants with the extensive training necessary to become effective combat infantry officers. As a colonel, he commanded the 8,500 Marines and sailors of the 1st Force Service Support Group, was Marine Corps liaison to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and was the Executive Assistant to the Commandant of the Marine Corps. He was a distinguished graduate of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.

In 1990, following his retirement from the Marine Corps, Ed joined the West Virginia law firm of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as the firm’s first executive director. For the next 15 years, he provided substantial leadership and management experience to the firm, growing the number of lawyers from 75 to 175, and establishing seven offices through the state of West Virginia. Ed was particularly effective in firm management because of his prior leadership experience in the Marine Corps, his outgoing personality, and his genuine personal interest in helping every person in the firm achieve as much growth and success as possible. Within the community of Clarksburg, where Ed lived for over 25 years, he was active in the United Way, Immaculate Conception Church, Harrison County Chamber of Commerce, Clarksburg Country Club, and other organizations. Following retirement in 2005, Ed continued to reside in Clarksburg, enjoying travel, family visits and the social companionship of his many West Virginia friends.

A Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, August 27 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as celebrant.

Ed will be laid to rest at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

     Charles Allen Molsee was born on 1 February 1884 at Scioto, Delaware Co., Ohio. He married Florence Evelyn Harn, daughter of William Harn and Mary Elizabeth Schlosser. Charles Allen Molsee died on 6 July 1968 at Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington, at age 84. He was buried at Naches Cemetery, Naches, Yakima Co., Washington, Plot: Section 3, row 9.

     Margaret Esther Molter was born circa 1843 at Pennsylvania estimated birth date from 1880 Census. She was born on 7 December 1843 at Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹ She married Thornton Fleming Harn, son of Richard William Harn and Lucretia Whittaker, circa 1864. Margaret Esther Molter died on 6 December 1919 at Bridgewater, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹
