Frank Leapold Farner and Maude Mae Johnson, on 30 August 1948 at Winnemucca, Humboldt Co., Nevada.^1,2 Naomi Bernice Richards lived in February 1963 at Albany, Linn Co., Oregon.³ She lived in 2007 at 121 NE Peachtree Lane, Albany, Linn Co., Oregon; from switchboard.com. Naomi Bernice Farner (1928-2018)

Naomi Farner, 89, of Albany, Oregon, passed away at home on April 29, 2018. She was surrounded by family as she left her earthly body for heaven. Naomi was born in Eldora, Iowa to Abe and Florence Richards. She was the fourth of six children.

After graduating from Iowa Falls High School in 1945, Naomi traveled to Caldwell, Idaho, where she met her husband Eldon. They married in 1948 in Winnemucca, Nevada, and were looking forward to celebrating their 70th anniversary later this summer. Before settling in Albany where they raised their four children, Eldon and Naomi lived in Owatonna, Minnesota, as well as in Prineville and Nyssa, Oregon.

Naomi was first a wife, mother, and homemaker. As the children reached school ages, however, she began work at the Albany Chamber of Commerce for two years before taking a job in accounts payable at the Albany School District until retirement.

Naomi was involved in Cub Scouts, the Timber Carnival, Faculty Wives, Women’s Ministries, and Evergreen Hospice. She followed Eldon in his love for the Oregon State University Beavers. She and Eldon were members of Hope Church (formerly First Assembly of God) for 44 years. She loved to paint landscapes, needlepoint, work in the yard, crochet, sew, work crossword puzzles, and read. She had an especially great love of young children and babies.

Naomi is survived by her husband, Eldon; children, Linda (Laverne) Stieglbauer; Monte (Jane) Farner; Ron (Patricia) Farner; Cindy (Greg) Loberg; Paula (Lonni) Roth; brothers, Larry (Mary) Richards; Dennis (Dorene) Richards; sisters-in-law Maude Patch and Naomi Richards; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and wonderful friends. Her brothers Albert and Laurel and sister Doris preceded her in death.

A viewing will be held Sunday, May 6, from noon-3:00 PM at Fisher Funeral Home, 306 SW Washington St., Albany. Hope Church, at 2817 Santiam Hwy SE in Albany, will host Naomi’s celebration of life at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 7.      Dorice Leorrin Richardson was born on 23 June 1914 at Edinburg, Christian Co., Illinois. He was the son of Lyman Glenn Richardson and Maud Elizabeth Harrod. Dorice Leorrin Richardson married Geraldine Richardson. Dorice Leorrin Richardson died on 3 June 1997 at Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois, at age 82. He was buried at Edinburg Cemetery, Edinburg, Christian Co., Illinois.¹

     Geraldine Richardson was born in 1914. She married Dorice Leorrin Richardson, son of Lyman Glenn Richardson and Maud Elizabeth Harrod. Geraldine Richardson died in 2005. She was buried at Edinburg Cemetery, Edinburg, Christian Co., Illinois.¹

     Lyman Glenn Richardson was born on 9 December 1887 at Edinburg, Christian Co., Illinois. He married Maud Elizabeth Harrod, daughter of Levi Monroe Harrod and Mary Elizabeth Nally, on 25 October 1908 at Christian Co., Illinois. Lyman Glenn Richardson died on 19 April 1963 at age 75.

Child three and four were daughters, names unknown. Mary Frances Richardson lived in 1927 at 219 S. Torrence, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.³ The cause of death was Influenza.³ She died on 20 December 1928 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 86.^3,2 She was buried on 24 December 1928 at Section 104, Lot 3446, Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.^3,4,2

     Elizabeth Richey married Eli Duvall Sr.¹

     Earl Clark Richmond was born on 30 March 1908 at Los Angeles Co., California.¹ He married Thelma Gladys Booher, daughter of Frank Sylvester Booher and Hattie D. Harn, on 8 June 1929 at Arizona. Earl Clark Richmond died on 30 December 1990 at San Diego Co., California, at age 82.¹ He was buried at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Escondido, San Diego Co., California.¹

     A.J. Richter married Elizabeth Alexandra Gray, daughter of Methodius Kenneth Gray and Gloria Mae Sorenson.¹

     David Richter is the son of Milton Edward Richter and Bernice June Scott.¹

     Ernest Exbert Richter was born on 7 February 1893 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. He married Katherine Havel, daughter of Joseph Havel and Mary Sklenar, on 4 February 1914 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. Ernest Exbert Richter and Katherine Havel were divorced abt 1937-1938 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. Ernest Exbert Richter died on 27 September 1952 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at age 59.

     Milton Edward Richter was born on 19 May 1923 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota.¹ He was the son of Ernest Exbert Richter and Katherine Havel. Milton Edward Richter married Wanda Margaret Dreazy on 26 July 1944 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. Milton Edward Richter married Bernice June Scott, daughter of Clyde Henry Scott and Beatrice June Shaw, on 17 January 1948 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. Milton Edward Richter lived in 1949 at Coos Bay, Coos Co., Oregon. He lived in 1972 at Klamath Falls, Klamath Co., Oregon. He died on 20 July 1981 at Keno, Klamath Co., Oregon, at age 58.¹ He was buried at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Klamath Falls, Klamath Co., Oregon.¹

     Ralph Ernest Richter was born on 5 November 1915 at Montgomery Twsp., Le Sueur Co., Minnesota. He was the son of Ernest Exbert Richter and Katherine Havel. Ralph Ernest Richter married Thelma Iola Renfro on 7 August 1947 at California. Ralph Ernest Richter married Frances May McGowan on 4 May 1973 at Los Angeles Co., California. Ralph Ernest Richter died on 10 April 1979 at Los Angeles Co., California, at age 63.

     Terry Richter is the son of Milton Edward Richter and Bernice June Scott.¹

     Thomas William Richter was born on 17 May 1957 at North Bend, Coos Co., Oregon.¹ He was the son of Milton Edward Richter and Bernice June Scott. Thomas William Richter lived in October 2012 at Keno, Klamath Co., Oregon.² He died on 21 October 2012 at Grant Co., Oregon, at age 55.¹

Thomas William Richter, 55, a longtime resident of Keno, Ore., was born May 17, 1957, in North Bend, Ore.
"Tombo" was the Big Guy known by all for his Big Laugh, his Big Handshakes, his Big Hugs, but mostly for his Big, Big Heart, which gave out and took his life Sunday evening Oct. 21, 2012, in Elk Hunting Camp near John Day, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and June Richter.
Survivors include his two brothers David Richter of Keno and Terry Richter of Coquille, Ore; his sister-in-law Sunne Richter of St. Helens, Ore; his nephew Jobe Richter of Denver, Colo; his aunt Doris Semon of Coos Bay, Ore; and of course all of us who loved him.
He will be missed in a Very Big Way.
A celebration in honor of Tombo's life will be on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the George and Mary Martin home on Bear Valley Drive in Keno will be a potluck.
