MRS. ELIZABETH E. HARN Death Of A Venerable Lady, Who Was Fond Of Fishing. Special Dispatch to the Baltimore Sun. Elllcott City, Md., Dec. 8. Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen Ham died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Burgee, at Oella December 7, aged 90 years. She was born October 3, 1815, and had been an active member of the Methodist Church since her sixteenth year. Being fond of fishing, she enjoyed the sport till recent years and could boast of many fine catches of the game black bass. One of her great pleasures was making quilts, using only the needle. At the time of her death she was at work on a quilt of beautiful design. She rarely had to use glasses to thread or ply a needle. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Margaret Fleming, only two years younger than she. of Carroll county ; three sons Edwin W, Harn, of Havre de Grace, Md; Thomas B. Harn, of Baltimore county, and Luther E. Harn, of Baltimore city. She also leaves four daughters Mrs. Samuel M. Remmey, of Havre de Grace, Md; Mrs. Horace J. McDonald, of Lacrosse, Wis; Mrs. A. J Griffin, of Alberton, Md., and Mrs. Robert H. Burgee, of Oella, Md. She also leaves 13 grandsons and 9 granddaughters, 7 great-grandsons and 5 great-granddaughters. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Oella Method 1st Church. Rev. H. N. Groeninger, who was Mrs. Ham's pastor years ago and who has long ceased from active duties in the ministry, will officiate. Rev. Thomas Woods, pastor of Emory Methodist Episcopal Church, of Elllcott City, will assist at the funeral. The pallbearers will be her grandsons- Willard E. Harn, Elmer M. Harn, Oscar L. Glfhn, Raymond Riuimey, Charles Burgee and William Rlmmey. The burial will be in Oella Cemetery.6 She was buried at Oella Cemetery, Catonsville, Baltimore Co., Maryland.4,5
