     Florida Louise LaPierre was born on 11 December 1876 at Williamsport, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania; Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault, had funeral card for Florida. She was the daughter of Gilbert LaPierre and Eulalie Besson. Florida Louise LaPierre was baptized at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.³ She married Florence James McCarthy, son of John McCarthy and Saraphine Sheehy, on 11 July 1899 at Shieldsville, Rice Co., Minnesota; Marriage Record listed Lorence James McCarthy and Florida Stone.⁴ Florida Louise LaPierre married John Henry Quinn on 28 November 1923 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota. Florida Louise LaPierre died on 3 August 1965 at St. George Hospital, Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 88; Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault, had funeral card for Florida. She was buried on 7 August 1965.

Her married name was McCarthy. She lived in 1965 at 14314 S.Stewart Ave., Riverdale, IL. The cause of death was Chronic Myocarditis, Chronis Nephritis, Generalized Arteriosclersis. Her Social Security Number was 474-22-1788. Letter from Claire Kassinger dated 9/1994, said that John Quinn and Florida built a new home on the west side of Faribault, MN, near the Sheffield Mill.

     Gilbert LaPierre was born on 16 December 1851 at St. Denis, St. Hyacynthe, Canada.² He was the son of Denis dit Augustine LaPierre and Mathilda (Dornitelde) Hubert. Gilbert LaPierre married Eulalie Besson, daughter of Louis Besson and Mary (Merence) Lacorse, on 21 May 1871 at Fall River, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² Gilbert LaPierre died on 29 December 1940 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota, at age 89.² He was buried at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota; Tombstone for Gilbert has dates of 1861 - 1940.
