Albert Dennis McCarthy married Dollie Helen Schmaedick, daughter of Albert Henry Schmaedick and Ida Theresa Mellbloom, on 20 October 1934 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.⁵ Albert Dennis McCarthy died on 4 September 1990 at Granada Hills, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 86.⁴ He was buried on 8 September 1990 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, Los Angeles Co., California.⁴
