Anthony “Tony” M. Bongers, age 70, of Faribault, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Faribault. Memorial services will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Christine Sorensen officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault. A memorial visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Tony, the son of Henry and Josephine (Reichert) Bongers, was born on September 23, 1945 in Faribault. Tony graduated from Faribault High School in 1963 and also from South Central Technical College, Faribault, as a journeyman sheet metal worker. He married Carole Ann Harn on August 28, 1965 in Faribault. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2009. He farmed with his father for many years in the Cannon City Township area and was also employed by Lockerby Sheet Metal, Faribault. Tony enjoyed the outdoors – he loved to hunt and fish, and also was an avid reader. He is survived by four children, Tammie Bongers (and Dan Moravec) of Faribault, Troy Bongers (and Kelly Darling) of Faribault, Traci (and Mark) Thieding of Lonsdale and Chris Bongers of Faribault; eight grandchildren, Joseph Moravec, Lexa, Holly, Lucan and Shiloh Bongers, Araya Crombie, Alexander and Maximilian Thieding; one brother, Ken (and Bonita) Bongers of Faribault; one sister in law, Jeannine Bongers of Faribault and one brother in law, Larry (and Jeanne Taylor) Harn of Faribault. Martha Booth Mitchell, 80, of Meadville, formerly of Rogersville and Houston, died at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in Hamot Medical Center, Erie, after being in failing health since August.
She was born August 2, 1928, in McMechen, W.Va., a daughter of Frederick Harold and Lydia Pearl Harn Booth.
Mrs. Mitchell had resided in Houston for 42 years prior to moving to Meadville in 2000.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Meadville and was a former member of Rogersville United Methodist Church and had attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Meadow Lands.
Mrs. Mitchell was a graduate and salutatorian of the Class of 1947 from the former Center Township High School in Rogersville.
Prior to her retirement in 1993, she was last employed as a seamstress with Ace Reconditioning in Washington.
Mrs. Mitchell enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, scenery painting and the time she was able to spend with her family.
On August 4, 1946, she married Fred Johnson Mitchell, who died December 9, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Bonna K. Goodnight of Petroleum, W.Va., Mary M. and husband William Sherrod of Meadville and Nancy E. and husband Mark Janosky of Perryburg, Ohio; a son, John W. and wife Donna Mitchell of Pittsburgh; a sister, Vileta and husband Arthur Fletcher of Inman, S.C; a brother, Willis H. and wife Lisa Booth of North East; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a great-grandson, Zachery Thomas William, who died at the age of 18 months; and two brothers, George Adin and Floyd Wayne Booth.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, with Dr. Terry Clark of First Christian Church of Meadville officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Center Township. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church of Meadville, 503 North Main Street Ext., Meadville, PA 16335.      On 18 Jan 1950, Willis H. Booth completed Application for World War II Compensation - to be used by honarable discharged veteran or person still in service. His address was listed as 3113 Buffalo Road, Wesleyville, Erie County, Pennsylvania. He was born 16 Oct 1923 in Hundred, Wetzel County, West Virginia. He entered active service on 02 Mar 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with service number of 33-437-905. He was separated from active service on 21 Jan 1946 in Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania. It listed his step-mother as Christe Booth and father as Fred H. Booth, both in Rogersville, Pennsylvania.2

Willis was born on October 16, 1923 and passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
His parents were Fred H. and Pearl (Harn) Booth. He was married to Lisa (Lauber) Booth. Siblings were "Aiden and Floyd (""Speedy"") Booth; Martha Mitchell; Vileta Fletcher".
Willis was a resident of Pennsylvania at the time of passing.
Upon returning from the war, Tarzan attended barber school in Pittsburgh, working his way through at Allegheny General Hospital.
Tarzan enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943 and served honorably in the 3rd Army Division as a gunner during World War II under General George Patton in Europe.
Family and friends are invited to call at Messiah Lutheran Church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service to be conducted there at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Jeffrey J. Piccirilli.1
