     Minos Hearne was born on 21 December 1795 at Sussex Co., Delaware.² He married Malinda Chinn. Minos Hearne was the son of Clement Hearne and Kesiah Cannon. Minos Hearne married Ann Yancey. Minos Hearne died on 17 April 1837 at Nicholasville, Jessamine Co., Kentucky, at age 41.² He was buried at Nicholasville, Jessamine Co., Kentucky. His Ancestral File Number is 3ZVP-7V.

He was buried at Hearne-Freeney Cemetery, Delmar, Wicomico Co., Maryland.⁵

Nehemiah Hearne died on 2 October 1815 at Laurel, Sussex Co., Delaware.¹ Move to North Carolina with parents in 1762. Moved to Sussex Co., Delaware in 1783. Nehemiah Hearne was a Church of England.

     Purnell Hearne was the son of George Hearne and female (?) Purnell Hearne married female (?) Ancestral File Number TZLH-24. AFN TZLH-24 lists spouse as Eveline Shaver. Hist & Genealogy of Hearne Family, by Wm T. Hearne, 1907, pg 105. According to above book, Purnell raised a large family in NC. His Ancestral File Number is TZLH-24.

     Thomas Hearne was born on 31 May 1691 at Somerset Co., Maryland.^2,3,4 He married Sarah Newbold at Somerset Co., Maryland. Thomas Hearne was the son of William Hearne and Mary Cuthbert. Thomas Hearne died on 1 March 1762 at Somerset Co., Maryland, at age 70.^2,4 AFN 3ZW4-3X for Sally Wingate, says she was born 1670 in KY. E.B. HARN Sheets has Thomas death date as about Jan 1762. AFN 3ZW4-2R has Thomas death date as 01Mar1763 in Somerset Co., MD. The birthdates given for wife Sally/Sarah seem unrealistic. His Ancestral File Number is 3ZW4-2R.

Thomas, son of William and Mary Hearne, was born May 3, 1691, and died about March 1, 1762. He lived in Somerset county, Maryland. He married Sally Wingate. Children: George, born about 1715; Ebenezer, born May 6, 1717, died in April, 1785, married Priscilla Fooks; Thomas; Elizabeth, married Isaac Moore; John; Nehemiah, died in March, 1760, married Bettie ---; Jemima; Mary, married Joshua Morgan; Esther, married Benjamin Vincent; Sarah; Anne; William. He was buried at Hearne-Freeney Cemetery, Delmar, Wicomico Co., Maryland.⁴

Thomas, son of Thomas and Sally (Wingate) Hearne, was born in 1720, and died in North Carolina, in 1880. He was executor of his father's estate. He emigrated from Maryland to Onslow county, North Carolina, where a son was born in 1768. In a few years he removed to Montgomery county, North Carolina, and settled a few miles from the mouth of the Yadkin River. In the revolutionary war he would not take up arms for either side, and fared badly at the hands of each party, and thus lost most of his property. However, at least four of his sons were revolutionary soldiers, and one, perhaps not only one, of these, served from 1776 to the surrender of Cornwallis.
He married Nancy Wilson, who was born on the eastern shore of Maryland. Children: Thomas, born in January, 1768, died in 1852, married Rachel Drewry; George, died July 9, 1850, married Tabitha Skein; Nancy Rachel, married Purnell Hearne; William, married (first), 1763, Sallie Hancock, (second) Priscilla (---) Harris, (third) Betsy (---) Riley; Ebenezer, married Dovey Walker; Elizabeth, died young; Abner; Edmond; Howell; Rev. Stephen, born in 1748, died in 1841 or 1844, married (first) Mary Hurley, (second) Prudence Steed (or Coggin); Drewry, born in 1760, died in 1839, married Keren Bledsoe; John. He was buried at Hearne Burial Ground, Albemarle, Stanly Co., North Carolina.⁴

     Thomas Hearne was born on 16 January 1790.² Thomas Hearne was a Shoemaker. He was the son of Lowder Hearne and Lavinia Cannon. Thomas Hearne married Harriet Hobbs. Thomas Hearne died circa March 1835.² According to above Hist., Thomas had several children die young.
