William McGinnis died this morning at the Valentyn Rest Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception church with the Very Rev. John P. Foley officiating.

Following from The Faribault Republican Newspaper, 2Apr1913 Wednesday, page 1, column 4.
The death of Charles McGinnis occurred Sunday, March 23, after a long illness of a complication of diseases at the family home on 16th Street North. The deceased is the youngest son of William McGinnis, and was born in this city thirty-two years ago. He was employed by H.W. Taylor for about twelve years. The funeral took place on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the church of the Immaculate Conception, Rev. Father Cahill officiating and internment was in Calvary cemetery. He is survived by his father, two sisters, Mrs. Jeremiah McCarthy, and Miss Anna McGinnis at this city, and two brothers, Frank and William of Minneapolis. The pallbearers were H. Smallidge, Edward Bowman, Edward Rioux, John Donohue, George Devery and Joseph Sheeran. Those from away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank McGinnis, Mr. and Mrs. William McGinnis of Minneapolis and Mr. James Headen of St. Paul.

Frank James Sklenar Jr. died on 8 November 1935 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at age 73.1 He was buried on 12 November 1935 at Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington.1
     The cause of death was a fractured skull in auto accident. Frank was born in 1865 or 16 Aug 1862. Franz arrived in US from Bohemia on 28Apr1877, age of 14 years.

Funeral services for Frank J. Sklenar will be held Tuesday at St. Leo's church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery under the direction of the Buckley-King company.

Sklenar died on 16 April 1940 at Washington.2 She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington.
     Catharine arrived in US from Bohemia on 28Apr1877, age of 3 years. Catherine A. Sklenar also went by the name of Kate.1 Her married name was Houser. In 1900 Census, 'Kata' listed as born Nov 1874 in Hungary. In 1900 Census, listed Kata immigrating to US in 1876. In 1900 Census, listed as mother of 3, with 2 of those living. As of 10 April 1910, Catherine A. Sklenar lived at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington; lists Katherine A., as 33 years old, born in Austria (Bohemian) , married 15 years, 4 of her 5 children still alive, immigrated in 1887. According to mother's obituary, 02Apr1916, Kate in Eatonville.

     Albert Carl Houser was born circa December 1869 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.3,4 He was the son of John Houser and Mary Bechley. Albert Carl Houser married Catherine A. Sklenar, daughter of Frank Sklenar and Katherine Hovet, on 26 January 1895 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington; CENSUS: 1900 WA, Lewis Co., Peel Pct., E.D. 126, sheet 4. Albert Carl Houser died on 5 January 1958 at Seattle, King Co., Washington.5 He was buried on 8 January 1958 at Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington.4
     Helen's letter in 1925, said Albert living in Eatonville, WA. Death Cert for Helen Detwiler listed father as Albert C. Housen. In 1900 Census, lists Albert's parents as born in Germany.

ALBERT C. HOUSER
Funeral services for Albert C. Houser, 89, a retired shingle-mill owner, were held today in the Georgetown Funeral Home with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma.
Mr. Houser, who resided at 1003 E. Republican St., died in a hospital Sunday. He was born in Montgomery, Minn. He came to Seattle from Tacoma in 1917.
Mr. Houser operated the A.B.C. Mill on the Duwamish River many years. He was a member of the Ancient Order of United Workmen. His wife, Katherine, died earlier.
Survivors are a son, Albert C. Houser, Jr., Seattle, a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Culbertson, North Bend, Ore; 12 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.4

     Alfred Rasmussen was born on 27 June 1883 at Bixby, Steele Co., Minnesota.2 He was the son of Louie Rasmussen and Anna Peterson. Alfred Rasmussen married Minnie Hartwig in 1905. Alfred Rasmussen married Katherine Rose Sklenar, daughter of Thomas Sklenar and Ann Nestaval, on 25 August 1971 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.3 Alfred Rasmussen died on 11 January 1973 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota, at age 89. He was buried on 13 January 1973 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Owatonna, Steele Co., Minnesota.2

     Harold Warren Redman was born on 26 March 1927 at Watseka, Iroquois Co., Illinois.1 He was the son of James Roby Redman and Ruby Fellows. Harold Warren Redman married Doris Jane Richards, daughter of Abe Paul Richards and Florence Irene Andrews, on 19 February 1950 at Methodist Church, Caldwell, Canyon Co., Idaho.2,1 Harold Warren Redman married Mary Lou McCarthy, daughter of William Charles McCarthy and Katherine Rose Sklenar, on 17 January 1964 at Owatonna, Steele Co., Minnesota.3 Harold Warren Redman and Herena A. Tichey were unmarried partners in 1985. Harold Warren Redman died on 8 July 2010 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Bellingham, Whatcom Co., Washington, at age 83.4 He was cremated on 8 July 2010 at Westford Funeral Home, Bellingham, Whatcom Co., Washington. In 1927 the Redman family moved from Illinois to Montana in a 1925 Chevy car, to find better jobs. Then in 1929, they moved from Wyoming to Idaho for Harold's fathers job with International Harvester. Harold worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Idaho from 1942-44. He joined the U.S. Army in 1945, where he served in Germany, getting out of the service in 1951. In 1951, he worked construction jobs in Washington. Beginning in 1952, he started working in the Printing business, initially in Oregon, then later in Minnesota. In 1959, Harold moved from Oregon to Minnesota for job opportunities.
Harold considered himself an Independent Republican. For leisure-time activities, he had enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and golf.
On 07 Jan 1970, Mary Lou adopted the two daughters of Harold W. Redman, Connie Jane Redman and Jody Ann Redman, and Harold adopted Mary Lou's son Steve. His Social Security Number was 519-20-6642 issued in Idaho before 1951.

Harold and his wife, Doris, adopted his sister Violet's baby, Connie Redman in 1953. He lived in February 1963 at 559 E. Rose St., Owatonna, Steele Co., Minnesota.5 He lived in 1965 at 8925 Chicago Ave., South, Bloomington, Hennepin Co., Minnesota; from 1965 to 1975. He lived in June 1975 at Rt. 4, Box 157A, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota. He retired circa 1983 at Minneapolis Star & Tribune Newspaper, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota. He lived in May 2001 at 2020 Spaulding St., Boise, Ada Co., Idaho.

Harold Redman lived with Herena A. Burkett at 2020 Spaulding Street in Boise from about 1985 till May 2001, when they sold the house. In March 2002, they bought a 14' x 70' mobile home at 1450 View Vista Park Port Angeles Washington. He lived bt 2002 - 2010 at 1450 View Vista Park, Port Angeles, Clallam Co., Washington. The cause of death was immediate cause of death was Myocardial Infarction for 3-weeks, aortic stenosis for 2-months, Atrial fibrillation for 1-week, pulmonary HTN for 2-months and Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). on 8 July 2010.4

1935-36     When about 8 or 9 years old, the family lived part-time out in Jordan Valley (Oregon), found a pinto pony that he raised.
     When about 8 or 9 years old, won a piglet at the fair in Caldwell, Idaho.
1936-38     Played legion baseball from 9-11 years old.
1936     Starting at age 9, parents made him take violin lessons for 2-years.
1937     When 10-years old, had two paper routes.
     Shipped to ranch in central Idaho, near Grangeville to work as a hired hand for 2-years for John Chase. Going to school in Grangeville. When about 12-years old, drove 36 head of mule and a horse for over 27 miles all by himself for John Chase.

Oct 1945     His army separation papers listed dates that were 1-year later than what he said in his audio recordings. The papers list enlistment into regular army on 29Oct1945 at Camp Wolters, Texas.
1946     He was in an Army Shooting Match in Munich, Germany.
1945-47     Made a train commander in the Army Transportation Corps, in charge of passenger trains from Berlin to Frankfort for about 2-years.
1947     Came down with Hepatitis.
     Yellow jaundice and in coma for 32-days.
     Said he was in a 1947 issue of Life magazine.

EDWARD ELMER HARN, Republican.
Edward Elmer Harn was born near Unionville, Frederick county, on September 30, 1874. He received his education in the public schools until he was about 15 years of age, when he entered the Unionville Academy. He began reading law in June, 1894, in the office of John C. Motter, now Associate Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit. In October of the same year he entered the junior class at the Law Department of the University of Maryland where he spent two sessions. In the summer of 1896, he returned to Frederick, and was admitted to the Frederick county bar, where he has since continued the practice of law. He is a member of the Republican State Central Committee. He was elected member of the House of Delegates in 1897.1

Elisha Lemuel Harn Jr. was born in 1843.2 He married Zilpha St. John, daughter of John St. John and Lucinda (?), circa April 1865 at Cass Co., Michigan.1 Elisha Lemuel Harn Jr. died on 2 February 1881 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 44.3
     In 1860 Elisha Lemuel Harn Jr. was a Miller. E.B. HARN Sheets 140,146,147 (listed death as Jan1881). The cause of death was Consumption. E.B. HARN Sheets listed Elisha as born about 1843 in Ohio. Birth Record for Harold, says father born in Ohio. >>> Double-check children and birthyears, especially Harold.

HARN, E.L., was born in Sidney, Shelby county, O., Aug. 24, 1836. Moved with parents to Elkhart county, Ind., in 1845. In 1851 he went to Chicago, and was engaged in milling until 1866, when he came to Minneapolis and engaged as head miller in the Island Mill a number of years, then in the Cataract Mill at the same place. In 1871 he went to Winona, where he was engaged in Otto Frost's mill two years, and in Sept., 1873, to this city, and has since been engaged as head miller in the mills of the Red Wing Mill Company. Married Miss Z. St. John, in Cass county, Mich., in April, 1865. She is a native of New York State. Their children are, Hattie B., Lottie M., Arthur, and an infant not named.

     Zilpha St. John was born on 16 October 1843 at New York.2 She was the daughter of John St. John and Lucinda (?) Zilpha St. John married Elisha Lemuel Harn Jr., son of Elisha Lemuel Harn and Keziah Griswell, circa April 1865 at Cass Co., Michigan.3 Zilpha St. John died on 15 February 1927 at Elroy, Juneau Co., Wisconsin, at age 83.2 She was buried on 17 February 1927 at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.4
     Her married name was Harn. Zilpha was the Executor in the Probate for Lottie T. Harn.

Following from Red Wing Daily Republican Newspaper, page 2 column 4, 15Feb1927 (Tuesday).
Mrs. Zelpha Harn, 84 years old, a resident of Red Wing, and who lived on Fifteenth street for many years until she took up her home with her daughter Mrs. M.T. Perkins, died early today at Elroy, Wis., where she had been visiting her sister since last fall. She was born in New York state October 16, 1843. The remains will be brought to Red Wing Wednesday evening for burial.

Funeral services for Mrs. Zelpha Harn, pioneer resident of Red Wing, who died at Elroy, Wis., early Tuesday morning at the age of 84 years, will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at A. Swanson's Sons' chapel, Dr. A.J. Northrup officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery.

William Singleton Harn married Juliette Ann Reed, daughter of Calvin Reed Jr. and Laura Minerva Fuller, on 17 March 1859 at Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon; Marriage ID#386879, volume I, page 53. William Singleton Harn died on 10 October 1895 at Hood River, Hood River Co., Oregon.1 He was buried at Idlewilde Cemetery, Hood River, Hood River Co., Oregon; Plot: Block 3, Lot 17, Grave 1.3
