Clair Harn died on 25 January 2009 at Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, at age 91.¹ He was buried at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Mausoleum, Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon.¹

     Clara Harn was also known as Sarah. She was born on 6 March 1859 at Illinois.² She was the daughter of Jonathan Harn and Mary Levingston. Clara Harn died circa 1951.²

     Clyde Ellsworth Harn was born on 30 July 1936 at Hanover, York Co., Pennsylvania.^2,1,3 He was the son of Abraham Wesley Harn and Edith Ellen Ambrose. Clyde Ellsworth Harn also went by the name of Pete. He married Barbara Jean DeLancey, daughter of Harry DeLancey and Elizabeth A. Shuman, on 17 September 1956 at Bristol, Virginia.¹ Clyde Ellsworth Harn married Helena M. Shaffer on 15 June 1963. Clyde Ellsworth Harn lived in 1999 at Altoona, Blair Co., Pennsylvania. He died on 12 August 2020 at Altoona, Blair Co., Pennsylvania, at age 84.^2,3


Clyde E. ‘Pete’ Harn

Clyde E. “Pete” Harn, 84, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday at UPMC Altoona following an extended illness, and is dancing delightfully with him. He was born in Hanover, son of the late Abraham W. and Edith Ellen (Ambrose) Harn.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Helena M. (Shaffer), whom he married on June 15, 1963; three daughters: Wendy (Ed) Nyiri, Holly (Terry) Garman and Mary Joy (Brad) Petrunak; four sons: Dan (Patti), Tim, Scott and Aaron Harn; eight grandchildren: Ashley Harn, Cassandra Fink, Kyle Nyiri, Martina Doran, Terry “Buddy” Garman, Jade Petrunak, Dan Harn Jr. and Summer Over; 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughters; a sister, Virginia Foor; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Eyers; and by two brothers, Jim and Sonny Harn.

Pete was an avid hunter and enjoyed roller skating, woodworking, puzzles and word searches. He was a member of the Altoona Full Gospel Church and was employed as a baker at Marhofer Bakery. He retired from McCartney’s as an installer. Pete served in the U.S. Army from 1956-59.

Family and friends will be received from 1 until the 2:30 p.m. funeral service on Saturday Aug. 15, 2020, at the Altoona Full Gospel Church, Lakemont, with Pastor Ron Campbell officiating. Interment will take place in Alto Reste Park Cemetery. Arrangements are with The Good Funeral Home Inc.

He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughters.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 15th 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Altoona Full Gospel Church (120 Roswell St, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 15th 2020 at 2:30 PM at the same location.

     Cora Amenta Harn was born on 15 March 1873 at Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹ The cause of death was died in infancy. She died on 16 March 1873 at Buffalo Co., Nebraska. She was the daughter of John Thomas Harn and Mary Frances Richardson.
