He married Penelope Prell, daughter of Carl Frederick Prell and Mercy Morse Longley, on 15 April 1967 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Brunswick, Cumberland Co., Maine.¹ Alvah C. Luce Jr. and Penelope Prell were divorced in November 1971 at Santa Barbara Co., California. Alvah C. Luce Jr. died in 2020 at Brunswick, Cumberland Co., Maine.

     Albert Joseph Lucero was born on 15 January 1915 at Walsenburg, Huerfano Co., Colorado.¹ He married Jane Theresa Varos, daughter of Joseph Melissendro Varos and Mary Struck, on 2 September 1946 at Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.
