The cause of death was Chronic Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Sarah Elvona Melton died on 19 March 1928 at St. Louis, St. Louis City, Missouri, at age 21.1 She was buried at Grave is unmarked, Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirkwood, St. Louis Co., Missouri.1
