ANNAPOLIS — Frances Josephine Elizabeth Fink Westervelt, of Annapolis, died July 13, 2012. She was 84. Born Feb. 24, 1928, in Odenton, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Josephine Fink. She attended Arundel High School, graduating in 1945 as class valedictorian. Following her education, she began her career with the U.S. Department of Defense. She retired in 1983 as a supervisory computer specialist with the Defense Investigative Services and then began her second career with the Department of Legislative Services of the Maryland General Assembly, eventually retiring in 1999. In 1950, she married Henry E. Westervelt Jr. of Annapolis, becoming members of the Riva and then Cape St. John communities. They also were both very active members in the Annapolis Elks Lodge 622 and enjoyed spending time with the many friends they made there over the years. Mrs. Westervelt was a past president of the Ladies Organization. She is survived by her daughter, Julia L. Cain of Easton; three granddaughters, Lori and Bruce Secrist of Cordova, Kelly and Sean Rizer of Denton, Joanna Cain of Cordova; and three great-granddaughters, Paige Secrist, and Morgan and Reagan Rizer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Westervelt Jr; and her siblings, Lorraine Farran, Grace Donaldson and Addison Fink. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Wednesday at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Funeral services will immediately follow. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis.

Paul is survived by his wife Anita (Timm) Fink, beloved daughter Anna Fink; siblings Elizabeth Shoeman, Vivian Molloy, Stephen Fink, Marion Wittenbreer, and several nieces and nephews.
Paul graduated from Northfield Sr. High School class of 1972. He received a Bachelor of Physics from the University of Minnesota in 1986, and earned a Master of Science in Nuclear Physics and Computational Physics from Oregon State University in 1989.
Paul was employed as a software engineer working most recently at Carlson Rezidor Hotel. Other past employers include Capella University, ECMC, Optical Solutions and IBM TJ Watson Research Center.
Paul’s wide range of interests included traveling and long aimless motorcycle rides. He loved cooking and barbequing and was a certified judge for Kansas City Barbeque Society.
A celebration of his life will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2pm at White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave. Burnsville, MN. Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service.

     Dr. Lawrence William Finley was born on 9 October 1922 at Campbellsburg, Washington Co., Indiana.¹ He married Mary Eleanor Anderson, daughter of Clarence W. Anderson and Inez Rupel, in 1944. Dr. Lawrence William Finley died on 16 November 1975 at Redondo Beach, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 53.¹ He was buried at Los Angeles National Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.¹ He graduated at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.      Louise F. Finley was also known as Sit-Lem-Too. She was born in 1856 at Kootenai Co., Idaho.¹ She was the daughter of Pierre Pial Peter Finley and Susan (?) Louise F. Finley was born on 14 September 1863 at Montana. She married William Irvine. Louise F. Finley married Joseph Bonaparte on 7 July 1904. Louise F. Finley and Joseph Bonaparte were divorced on 20 October 1909 at Flathead Co., Montana. Louise F.      Philomine Augusta Finley was born in 1854 at Montana.¹ She was the daughter of Augustin Yoostag Finley and Clemance (?) Philomine Augusta Finley married Camille Dupuis, son of Francois Xavier Dupuis and Flovie Demers, on 10 January 1870 at Washington. Philomine Augusta Finley died on 26 April 1903 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana.¹ She was buried at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery, St. Ignatius, Lake Co., Montana.¹

Philomine was the wife of Camille Dupuis. Both appear in the 1895 Indian Census Rolls as members of the Confederated Tribes (Flatheads, Pend D'Oreilles Rodessis). In that Census, both Philomine and Camille are given the same birth year. It does not match with the one that is deduced from her burial marker, so probably the date of birth for the head of household was used for both.¹

     Pierre Pial Peter Finley was born in 1828. He married Susan (?) Pierre Pial Peter Finley died on 19 January 1916 at Montana.

Jesse A. Fiorella, 66, died Nov. 23, 1999, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he was born April 1,1933, to Andrew J. and Jenny Fiorella and had lived in Reno for the past 20 years, coming from White Bear Lake, Minn., where he lived for 20 years.
Fiorella was an electrical technician and an Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the American Legion in White Bear Lake and the Catholic church.
His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are wife and son, Andrew Chester, both of Reno; son, Joseph Andrew of White Bear Lake; and brothers, Sal of Buffalo and John Reany of Minnesota.
A memorial Mass was celebrated.
Cremation will be at Truckee Meadows Crematory, under the direction of Reno Memorial Cremation and Burial Society.
