She died on 31 December 2000 at Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska, at age 98.¹ She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska.¹

Haines.¹ Grace Blanche Fellows married John Franklin Nichols on 22 December 1909 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska. Grace Blanche Fellows died on 27 November 1984 at Imbler, Union Co., Oregon, at age 99.² She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Payette, Payette Co., Idaho.²

Inez Edna Fellows married Rodney Duane Eldred Sr. Inez Edna Fellows died on 30 September 1976 at Kenesaw, Adams Co., Nebraska, at age 76.¹ She was buried at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Adams Co., Nebraska.¹

     Isa M. Fellows was born on 9 July 1897 at Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹ She was the daughter of William Leander Fellows and Mary Mable Jordan. Isa M. Fellows married Frank James Wright in 1917. Isa M. Fellows died on 19 July 1982 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska, at age 85.¹ She was buried at Kearney Cemetery, Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹

     James Lloyd Fellows was born on 18 July 1910 at Pleasanton, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹ He was the son of George Elbert Fellows and Minnie Inez Lilly.¹ James Lloyd Fellows married Elenora May (?) in 1935.¹ James Lloyd Fellows married Betty Joy Neeling on 10 January 1969 at Sonoma Co., California.¹ The cause of death was diabetes in 1997.² James Lloyd Fellows died on 21 January 1997 at Sonoma Co., California, at age 86.³

     Jay Elllsworth Fellows was born on 2 March 1886 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.² He was the son of Adin Fellows and Viola Pettit.¹ Jay Elllsworth Fellows was born circa 1887 at Nebraska.¹ He married Velma Mae Alvord on 11 July 1908 at Ogemaw Co., Michigan. Jay Elllsworth Fellows and Velma Mae Alvord were divorced on 28 August 1937 at St. Clair Co., Michigan. The cause of death was Cardiac Decompensarion. Jay Elllsworth Fellows died on 29 September 1944 at American Legion Hospital, Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan, at age 58.

     Jerome Albert Fellows married Alice M. Owen. Jerome Albert Fellows was born on 23 April 1912 at Amherst, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹ He was the son of John Franklin Fellows and Maud Nina Hatten. Jerome Albert Fellows lived at Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon. Jerome and Alice and three children. He died on 16 January 1988 at Jackson Co., Oregon, at age 75.

     Jessie Edwards Fellows was born on 5 March 1888 at Amherst, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹ She was the daughter of Albert A. Fellows and Margaret M. Haines.¹ Jessie Edwards Fellows died on 29 December 1950 at Payette, Payette Co., Idaho, at age 62. She was buried at Stanley Cemetery, Amherst, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.²

     Jim Fellows is the son of James Herbert Fellows and Roberta Foltz.

     John Franklin Fellows was born on 8 September 1872 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.^1,2,3 He was the son of Albert A. Fellows and Margaret M. Haines. John Franklin Fellows was born circa 1873 at Nebraska info from 1880 Nebraska Census. He married Maud Nina Hatten, daughter of Jerome Hatten and Mary Ellen Harvey, on 1 January 1896 at Missouri.^1,3 Between 1906 and 1937 John Franklin Fellows was a rural mail carrier.³

JOHN F. FELLOWS FAMILY
"John F. Fellows was born September 8, 1872 on the claim staked by his father and mother, Albert and Margaret (Haines) Fellows six miles west of the city of Kearney. The family came by train between May 1871 and September 1872. Family tradition records John as being the first white child born in Buffalo County. He grew up with a family of eight boys and three girls. They helped their neighbors with farming and blacksmithing. During this time Albert worked on the railroad and was a deputy for the Buffalo County Sheriff David "Cap" Anderson. Mr. Anderson was away from his office much of the time riding his horse around the county.

John met his bride, Maud N. Hatten, in Odessa Township in Section 2 where her family had homesteaded a tree claim in 1878, coming from Pennsylvania. He courted his bride to be in a horse and buggy during the winter of 1895 and persuaded her to travel to Cass County, Missouri, to open a new business. This she did and they were married In Missouri on January 1, 1896. During the first year the business failed and they returned to the Amherst area bringing with them a baby girl named Lucy Mae, born October 27, 1896. The children born at Amherst were Walter Reuben in 1898, Hazel Vera in 1900, Paul Eugene in 1902, Ada Opal in 1904, Boyd in 1907, died in 1917, Rachel Wauneta born in 1910, died in 1923 and the twins, Jerome Albert and John Franklin in 1912.

In 1906 John started as a rural mail carrier and continued until his retirement in 1937. He passed away March 15, 1941. Maud died in 1961. They are buried in the Riverdale cemetery.

Lucy, the first child, married Edward Burkey in 1914. Their children were Elaine born in 1915 married Chester Cochran; Rueben born 1919 married Elaine Claiborn; Roy born 1920 married Thelma Johnson; Edward, Jr. born in 1922, lived in Arkansas; Joe Arthur born in 1923 married Norma Wood; Harold F. born in 1927 married Charlotte Woolstrum; John W. born in 1929 lived in Missouri; Lois born in 1934 married Marvion Reichert; Sherman born in 1938 married Sandra Alderman; Elmer born in 1917, died in 1919; twins, a boy and a girl born and died in 1925; Lyman born in 1932, died in 1934. Elaine and Rueben attended Amherst High School. Elaine remembers riding horseback or walking the eight miles to high school. She graduated from the Amherst High School in 1934.

Walter, the second child, married Emalou Erazim of Hazard in 1928. Walter was a farmer and worked on the railroad.

The third child, Hazel, was born in 1901 and married Edwin Bunn in 1919. Their children were Edwin, Jr., Vera, Clyde and Orville.

The fourth child born to John and Maud was Paul, who married Annie Pearl DeLaet in 1926. They had five children: Harvey, Dale, Pauline, Roberta and Darrell.

Ada, the fifth child, was born in 1904 and married Roy Dobbins in 1923. A son, Walter, died in 1927. Ada married Luther Wiggins in 1927, one son, Melvin, was born to this union. There were two stepchildren, Paul and Marie Wiggins.

The sixth child, Boyd, was born in 1907, died in 1917.

The seventh child, Rachel Wauneta, was born in 1909 and died in 1923. Both Boyd and Rachel Wauneta are buried in the Riverdale Cemetery.

The twins, Jerome and John, Jr., were born in 1912. Jerome married Alice M. Owen. They had three children. Lived in Medford, Oregon. John, Jr. married Ann Noble, the daughter of Margaret (Tinsman) and William Ira Noble. They had six children. John and Ann moved to Medford, Oregon in 1941."

     John Franklin Fellows Jr. was born on 23 April 1912 at Amherst, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.¹ He was the son of John Franklin Fellows and Maud Nina Hatten. John Franklin Fellows Jr. married Ann Noble. John Franklin Fellows Jr. lived in 1941 at Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon. John Jr. and Ann had six children. He died on 17 October 1991 at Jackson Co., Oregon, at age 79.

     Jonathan Fellows was born on 28 September 1682 at Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married Hannah Dutch on 17 March 1705 at Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts. Jonathan Fellows died on 21 January 1753 at Kensington, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire, at age 70.¹

     Judith Marie Fellows is the daughter of Elbert Clifton Fellows and Norma Janet Burkett. Judith Marie Fellows married William Jack Mickel on 9 November 1968 at Prineville, Crook Co., Oregon.

     LeeAnn Fellows is the daughter of Thomas Walter Fellows and Marie Gertrude Lingelbach.

     Lena Luella Fellows was born in 1884 at Nebraska.² She was the daughter of Adin Fellows and Viola Pettit.¹ Lena Luella Fellows was born circa 1885.¹ She married William Leathorn on 13 May 1897 at Port Huron, St. Clair Co., Michigan. Lena Luella Fellows married William Lewis Ketch circa 1917. Lena Luella Fellows married Wesley A. Irwin on 27 March 1944 at Port Huron, St. Clair Co., Michigan. Lena Luella Fellows married Charles Brown on 21 August 1948 at Goodells, St. Clair Co., Michigan.³ Lena Luella Fellows and Charles Brown were divorced on 23 April 1949 at St. Clair Co., Michigan. Lena Luella Fellows died on 18 December 1953 at Port Huron, St. Clair Co., Michigan.

     Leona L. Fellows was born on 17 October 1921 at Hardin, Big Horn Co., Montana.² She was the daughter of George Clifton Fellows and Katherine Hert.¹ Leona L. Fellows was born in 1922 at Montana. She married James Kennedy on 25 October 1941 at Bozeman, Gallatin Co., Montana. Leona L. Fellows died on 8 April 1976 at Manhattan, Gallatin Co., Montana, at age 54.² She was buried at Meadowview Cemetery, Manhattan, Gallatin Co., Montana.²

     Leroy LaVelle Fellows was born on 27 July 1914 at Nebraska.¹ He was the son of George Elbert Fellows and Minnie Inez Lilly.¹ Leroy LaVelle Fellows was born in 1915 at Montana.^3,4 Leroy LaVelle Fellows also went by the name of Jack.² He married Emma Louise Dennhardt on 26 March 1936 at Klamath Falls, Klamath Co., Oregon.^1,2 Leroy LaVelle Fellows was a barber, owned his own shop, at North Bend, Coos Co., Oregon.² The cause of death was appendicitis in 1975.⁵ His Social Security Number was 540-03-7686 issued in Oregon before 1951, last residence being North Bend, Coos Co., Oregon. He died on 28 February 1975 at Coos Co., Oregon, at age 60; Listed in Oregon Death Index, 1903-98 at Ancestry.com, certificate 75-03652 .⁶ He was buried at Ocean View Memory Gardens & Crematory, Coos Bay, Coos Co., Oregon.⁶
