Charles "Charlie" Elmer Fellows, 87 of Choteau, passed away suddenly, April 14, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Private services were held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 where Charlie was laid to rest in Choteau Cemetery.Charlie was born June 29, 1934 in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska to Walter and Mary (Weibert) Fellows. He was raised in Lodge Grass, Montana and graduated from Lodge Grass High School with the class of 1952. Shortly after graduation, Charlie met the love of his life and best friend, Heather D. Waite. The couple was married January 16, 1959 in Billings, Montana and spent 63 wonderful years together.Charlie was born to be a farmer/rancher. Starting out at a young age in Lodge Grass, which he called home for 37 years. In 1963 he was awarded with the Big Horn County, Montana "Outstanding Farmer Award" in recognition of exceptional progress in agriculture. The family moved to Choteau, Montana and bought their forever home. As well as their farm and ranch, where he worked and lived for the last 50 years.Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Heather of the family home in Choteau; children Charles M. Fellows of Choteau, Montana; Michael B. Fellows of Great Falls, Montana and Cathleen Fellows of Billings, Montana. As well as 4 grandchildren; Quest, Libbey, Stephaney and Kaitlyn Fellows.Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mary Fellows, his sister Margaret Hanley and his brothers Thomas and James Fellows.In Lieu of flowers donations in Charlie's name can be made to Bright Eyes Care and Rehab Center; PO Box 1342 Choteau, MT 59422 or the Choteau Volunteer Fire Department; PO Box 777 Choteau, MT 59422.Condolences may be left on-line at www.gorderjensenfuneralhome.com.2
