He married Corrilla Harn, daughter of Caleb Harn and Sally Davis, on 9 July 1809 at Frederick Co., Maryland.1,2 James Douty died on 24 February 1847 at Carroll Co., Maryland.3,2 James Douty was a Blacksmith.
