     Nathaniel Ellsworth was born on 16 April 1724 at Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Jeremiah Ellsworth and Hannah Tenney. Nathaniel Ellsworth died on 10 October 1728 at age 4.

Richard Maddox Ellsworth married Julia Ann Libbey on 7 March 1850. Richard Maddox Ellsworth died on 17 January 1902 at Phillips, Franklin Co., Maine, at age 73.¹ He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Phillips, Franklin Co., Maine.¹

     Roxanne Cornelia Ellsworth was born in January 1845 at Strong, Franklin Co., Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Hartson Ellsworth and Kitty Billings. Roxanne Cornelia Ellsworth died on 8 September 1864 at Franklin Co., Maine, at age 19.¹ She was buried at Strong Village Cemetery, Strong, Franklin Co., Maine.¹

     Sarah Ellsworth was baptized on 27 July 1690. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Ellsworth and Sarah Jewett. Sarah Ellsworth married George Hibbert on 24 November 1709. Sarah Ellsworth died on 8 April 1767 at age 76.

     Sarah Ellsworth was born on 17 April 1714 at Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Ellsworth and Hannah Tenney. Sarah Ellsworth married Ebenezer Hidden, son of Ebenezer Hidden and Elizabeth Story, on 13 August 1744.

     Sarah Anne Ellsworth was born on 4 April 1830 at Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Miriam Maddocks. Sarah Anne Ellsworth married Obediah Warren Russell in 1848 at Maine.      Thirza Cottle Ellsworth was also known as Thirsy. Thirza Cottle Ellsworth was also known as Thurza.³ Thirza Cottle Ellsworth was also known as Theresa Obituary also listed name as Theresa. In the 1860 Census, first name spelled Thersea.⁴ Thirza Cottle Ellsworth was also known as Thirza In the 1850 Census, first name spelled Thirza.⁵ Thirza Cottle Ellsworth was also known as Thursey.⁵ She was born on 14 August 1809 at Strong, Franklin Co., Maine.^6,5,7 She was the daughter of Jeremiah Ellsworth and Sarah Dodge. Thirza Cottle Ellsworth married Timothy Foster Perkins, son of Isaac Perkins and Elizabeth Foster, in September 1830 at Strong, Franklin Co., Maine.⁸ Thirza Cottle Ellsworth died on 31 October 1881 at Featherstone, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 72.^6,7 She was buried at Hope Cemetery, Featherstone Twsp., Goodhue Co., Minnesota.⁷ The cause of death was heart disease. Another old settler gone. Death of Mrs. T.F. Perkins, in her Seventy-second year. Mrs. Theresa Perkins, wife of T.F. Perkins, died at their home in Featherstone, Monday afternoon, October 31st, at four o'clock and twenty minutes, aged seventy-two years, two months and seventeen days. The disease was heart trouble and she passed away as quietly and gently as falleth to sleep the innocent babe on its mother's breast.
Miss Theresa Ellsworth was born in Franklin county, Maine, August 14th, 1809, and was married to T.F. Perkins, who was born in the same county, December 30, 1804, on September 20th, 1829, and they moved to this county in 1861; their married life having stretched over more than half a century. Besides her husband, she leaves five children, men and women well known and highly respected throughout this county, Jonathan R., Charles E., Timothy E., Hartson E. and Abbie S., (Mrs. Merritt Trippe) to cherish her fond memory. Though dead she still lives in the future of her children and grandchildren, and let no one say that such a life as hers, full of widely and motherly cares and joys, has been unworthy or wanting in the humble grandeur of success.
The mother in her struggles and victories, wielding her scepter of her children's loves, is the most honored of mortals. The poet hath well said, "The mother, in her office, holds the key of the soul; and she it is who stamps the coin Of character, and makes the being who would be a savage, But for her gentle cares, a Christian man; Then crown her queen of the world."

The funeral of Mrs. T.F. Perkins, whose death we noticed at length in The Advance last week, took place at Featherstone a week ago Friday. All the children and a number of her grand-children, were present. Mr. J.R. Perkins came down from Morris, and C.E. Perkins from Warren, Ill., to attend the funeral. The cause of death was heart disease. The deceased was seventy-two years of age and had lived in this county since 1862.

Thomas Ellsworth married Miriam Maddocks, daughter of Richard M. Maddocks Sr. and Miriam Whittier, in 1826. Thomas Ellsworth died on 26 November 1863 at Avon, Franklin Co., Maine, at age 64.      Violet P. Ellsworth was also known as Vilette.¹ She was born on 10 October 1841 at Phillips, Franklin Co., Maine.² She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Miriam Maddocks. Violet P. Ellsworth was born on 10 April 1842 at Franklin Co., Maine.¹ She married Hartson Ellsworth Perkins, son of Timothy Foster Perkins and Thirza Cottle Ellsworth, on 20 March 1859 at Franklin Co., Maine.¹ Violet P. Ellsworth died on 15 July 1934 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, at age 92.² She was buried on 17 July 1934 at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^2,3 Violet P. Mrs. Vilette Ellsworth Perkins, 92, beloved pioneer woman of this community and mother of M.T. Perkins of Red Wing, died at the home of her grandson, Richard Jones, in Minneapolis at 11 a.m. Sunday. Death was due to infirmities of old age. Mrs. Perkins had been confined to her bed for the past six weeks.
Mrs. Perkins was born on Oct. 10, 1841, at Phillips, Me. She came west in 1860 and settled on a farm in Featherstone township and resided there until about 40 years ago, when she removed to Red Wing, which remained here home until last March when she went to Minneapolis to live with her grandson.
In 1859 she was united in marriage to Hartson E. Perkins, who died on July 19, 1899. Mrs. Perkins was a kindly Christian woman, who was highly respected by all who knew her. She possessed her faculties to an unusual degree for one of her age up to the time of her death.
Surviving are three sons, Dr. B.T. Perkins and Dr. E.A. Perkins, Houston, Texas, 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Betcher Memorial chapel at Oakwood cemetery, Rev. Everett Hall, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery.

William Ellsworth died on 6 May 1870 at Salem, Franklin Co., Maine, at age 72.² He was buried at Mount Abram Cemetery, Salem, Franklin Co., Maine.² His Ancestral File Number is Ancestral File Record 83-046-037 submitted by Jeanne Fox Wilson. The cause of death was consumption.

     William Ellsworth was born on 13 November 1752 at Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Thomas Ellsworth and Lucy Hidden.

     Elia Timof Elphand was born on 22 June 1894 at Maikop, Adygea, Russia. Elia Timof Elphand died on 18 March 1983 at San Mateo, San Mateo Co., California, at age 88.

     George Henry Elred Jr. also went by the name of Animal. He was born in January 1958.¹ He married Cynthia Kaye Federer, daughter of Jesse Franklin Federer and Catherine Perkins. George Henry Elred Jr. died on 8 October 2014 at age 56.¹ He was buried.¹

     John Stuart Ely III is the son of John Stuart Ely Jr. and Joyce Ellen Hillick.¹

     John Stuart Ely Jr. married Joyce Ellen Hillick, daughter of Richard James Hillick and Elizabeth Ewing, on 2 August 1986.¹

     Matthew Richard Ely is the son of John Stuart Ely Jr. and Joyce Ellen Hillick.¹

     Sarah Ellen Ely is the daughter of John Stuart Ely Jr. and Joyce Ellen Hillick.¹

     Mark Allan Embretson was born on 31 January 1946 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.¹ He was the son of Paul Gordon Embretson and Nita Gael Crandall. Mark Allan Embretson married Carol A. Fredrickson. Mark Allan Embretson married Lorraine (?) Mark Allan Embretson died on 24 February 2007 at Brainerd, Crow Wing Co., Minnesota, at age 61.¹ He was buried at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Brainerd, Crow Wing Co., Minnesota.¹ He graduated in 1964 at Hasting High School, Hastings, Dakota Co., Minnesota.
