She married Florence James McCarthy, son of John McCarthy and Saraphine Sheehy, on 11 July 1899 at Shieldsville, Rice Co., Minnesota; Marriage Record listed Lorence James McCarthy and Florida Stone.⁴ Florida Louise LaPierre married John Henry Quinn on 28 November 1923 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota. Florida Louise LaPierre lived in 1965 at 14314 S.Stewart Ave., Riverdale, Cook Co., Illinois. She died on 3 August 1965 at St. George Hospital, Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 88; Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault, had funeral card for Florida. The cause of death was Chronic Myocarditis, Chronis Nephritis, Generalized Arteriosclerosis. She was buried on 7 August 1965 at Saint Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.⁵ Her Social Security Number was 474-22-1788. Letter from Claire Kassinger dated 9/1994, said that John Quinn and Florida built a new home on the west side of Faribault, MN, near the Sheffield Mill.

     Gilbert LaPierre was born on 16 December 1851 at St. Denis, St. Hyacynthe, Quebec, Canada.² He was the son of Denis dit Augustine LaPierre and Mathilda Hubert. Gilbert LaPierre married Eulalie Besson, daughter of Louis Besson and Mary Lacorse, on 21 May 1871 at Fall River, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² Gilbert LaPierre died on 29 December 1940 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota, at age 89.^2,3 He was buried at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.³ Some records under LaPierre, some under anglicized version, Stone.
