     As of 1930, Isabella H. Loveing was also known as Isabel. She was born on 3 September 1868 at Loon Lake, Franklin Co., New York.^2,3 She married William J. Perkins, son of Timothy Ellsworth Perkins and Rhoda A. Boston, on 18 October 1899 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^1,2 Isabella H. Loveing died on 13 August 1969 at Berkeley, Alameda Co., California, at age 100.^3,2 She was buried at Home of Peace Cemetery, Porterville, Tulare Co., California.³ She lived in September 1936 at Porterville, Tulare Co., California.⁴

Isabel Perkins Dies At Age 100
A Porterville centenarian, Isabel Perkins died Wednesday in a Berkeley convalescent home following a long illness. Mrs. Perkins would have been 101 in September.
The former Isabel Lovering was born Sept. 3, 1868, At Loon lake, N. Y. When she was 18 the family moved to Hector, Minn, and she attended Hamline university at St. Paul.
In 1899 she met and married William Joseph Perkins while they were both teachers in the Minnesota State Reform school. They established their home on a farm and it was here their four oldest children were born.
Mr. and Mrs. Perkins brought their family to Porterville and developed citrus property southeast of town. Their youngest son was born here. Mr. Perkins died in 1936.
In 1942 Mrs. Perkins sold the ranch and moved into Porterville where she lived until the spring of 1968 when she went to Berkeley to enter a convalescent home where she has been since.
Last year her 100th birthday was marked by two celebrations -- the first a family dinner at the home of her daughter and the second at the convalescent home. Asked on the occasion to what she attributed her long and active life, with pert brightness she replied, "Faith in God, hard work, and keeping up my interest in all things."
Her very active life included a 60 year membership in the First United Methodist church here during which she was president of the Women's Society for Christian Service five different times.
Survivors include two sons, Nell L. of Friant and Max E. Perkins of Los Angeles; two daughters, Miss Ina M. Perkins of Porterville and Mrs. Rhoda Bolfing of Berkeley. Another son, Waldo, died in 1966. Funeral services are pending at the Loyd chapel.

     Esther May Lovejoy was born on 20 January 1907 at Cavalier Co., North Dakota.¹ She was the daughter of Jotham Sewell Lovejoy and Harriet Evelyn Cowles. Esther May Lovejoy married John Henry Detwiler, son of John Henry Detwiler and Ellendora Dimmick, after 1931. Esther May Lovejoy died on 31 May 1982 at Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Meridian Cemetery, Kent, King Co., Washington.¹ Esther and John Henry Detwiler believed to have four children.²

     Jotham Sewell Lovejoy was born on 7 January 1843 at Albion, Kennebec Co., Maine.¹ He married Harriet Evelyn Cowles in 1897. Jotham Sewell Lovejoy died on 16 June 1936 at Seattle, King Co., Washington, at age 93.¹ He was buried at Washington Memorial Park, SeaTac, King Co., Washington.¹

     Blanche Alta Loveless was born on 24 May 1892 at Utah. She married Franklin Valentine Harn, son of Winfield Scott Harn and Fannie Louisia Stein, on 2 October 1908 at Baker Co., Oregon. Blanche Alta Loveless died on 23 February 1959 at Los Angeles Co., California, at age 66.

     Dorene Marie Loverink is the daughter of Jeppie Jack Loverink and Marie Van Wilgen.¹ Dorene Marie Loverink married Dennis Le Roy Richards, son of Abraham Paul Richards and Florence Irene Andrews, on 18 July 1959 at Ellendale United Methodist Church, Ellendale, Steele Co., Minnesota.^1,2

     Jeppie Jack Loverink was born on 4 May 1915 at Alison, Osceola Co., Iowa. He was born at Hartley?, O'Brien Co., Iowa.¹ He married Marie Van Wilgen. Jeppie Jack Loverink died on 29 December 1996 at Owatonna, Steele Co., Minnesota, at age 81.

     James Franklin Lovewell was born on 18 November 1904 at Lovewell, Jewell Co., Kansas.¹ He married Gloria Gay Campbell, daughter of Chauncey Richard Campbell and Gladys Irene Hartley, on 1 March 1947 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana. James Franklin Lovewell died on 2 February 1982 at Douglas Co., Oregon, at age 77.¹ He was buried at Lane Memorial Gardens, Eugene, Lane Co., Oregon.¹

     Terlyn Lu L Lovewell is the daughter of James Franklin Lovewell and Gloria Gay Campbell. Terlyn Lu L Lovewell married Stephen Lloyd Macduff on 27 August 1966 at Eugene, Lane Co., Oregon.

     Amos Albert Lowder was born on 18 December 1902 at Whiteside Co., Illinois. He married Nellie M. Davis, daughter of Perley H. Davis and Phoebe Harn, on 23 December 1929 at Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois. Amos Albert Lowder died on 17 February 1989 at Kingston Mines, Peoria Co., Illinois, at age 86.

     Amelia Jane Lowman was born circa 1828 at Maryland. She was the daughter of Perry Lowman and Eliza Harn. Amelia Jane Lowman married Cephas Sheckles. Amelia Jane Lowman died circa 1928 at Maryland.
