Harriet Edwards died on 23 January 1941 at Fresno, Fresno Co., California, at age 69.

Funeral Conducted For Selma Woman
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the chapel of the J. L. Robinson Funeral
Home for Mrs. Hattie Warfel, 72 who died in Fresno Thursday. Rev. Cecil J. England, pastor of the Christian Church in Selma, officiated. Burial was held in the Floral Memorial Park.
Mrs. Warfel was a native of Missouri. She had lived in Selma for three years. Survivors include her
Husband, James Warfel of Selma; four daughters, Mrs. Newton Bellamy of Wyoming, Mrs. R. E. Hatton
of Kingsburg, Mrs. Henry Light of Missouri and Mrs. Lottie Freeman of Nevada City; three sons, Harry Warfel of Selma, Paul Warfel of Montana and Glenn Warfel of Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Homer Boyd of
Los Angeles and a brother, John McGavery of the same city.

Graveside services were held Friday, Sept. 11 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery for Alvin L. Egbert, who died Sept. 8 at Oak Valley District Hospital. He was 74. Born in Cowley, Wyoming, Mr. Egbert resided in Oakdale for the past 23 years working as a welder and poultry man for Western Turkey. He was a World War II Army veteran and belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Turlock. His family asks contributions in his name be made to Oakdale V.F.W. Post 2922, Mr. Egbert is survived by his wife, Olivia Egbert of Oakdale; sons Samuel Leroy Egbert and Joseph Nathan Egbert of Oakdale, Kenneth Ray Egbert of Madera, James Stewart Egbert of Wasiala, Alaska; daughter Meredith Cecile Egbert of Oakdale; brother Kenneth W. Egbert of Montague, California; sister Glyn . Buchanan of Dinuba, California; eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Arrangements were made through Oakdale Memorial Chapel.

She died on 29 September 2009 at Dinuba, Tulare Co., California, at age 87.¹ She was buried at Smith Mountain Cemetery, Dinuba, Tulare Co., California.¹

Kenneth Warfel Egbert lived in October 1990 at Dinuba, Tulare Co., California.¹ He lived in September 1998 at Montague, Siskiyou Co., California.² He died on 1 April 2004 at Siskiyou Co., California, at age 78.
