     Granville Willis Brashears also went by the name of Dan. He was born on 15 February 1877.¹ He was the son of Francis E. Brashears and Emelia Catherine Lowman. Fred Brewer, 80, Dies in Whitewater
WHITEWATER - Fred J Brewer, 80, died Saturday (Apr. 4, 1970) in a nursing home.
He was graduated from Cornell University in 1912 and was the field manager for grading equipment at the Bucyrus-Erie Co., Milwaukee, until retiring in 1967 to Whitewater. He was a 50-year member of the Masons, past president of the State School Board Assn., and member of the Elks Club and the South Milwaukee Board of Education.
Surviving are his wife, Iva; two daughters, Mrs. June White, Hudson, O., and Mrs. Helen Salter, Waukesha; a son, William, Ikejo, Japan, and a sister, Mrs. Howard Rappleye. Washington, D. C.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Skindingsrude Funeral Home.
