Sackett married Herbert Elden Harn, son of Calvin Davis Harn and Rachel Rupel, on 17 March 1885 at Janesville, Waseca Co., Minnesota.⁴ Alice M. Sackett died on 6 May 1941 at St. Raphael's Home, St. Cloud, Stearns Co., Minnesota, at age 78.^2,5 She was buried on 9 May 1941 at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.^2,5 Alice M. Sackett was a housewife.² Alice was alive when her husband died in April 1931, according to Herbert E. Harn's death certificate. The cause of death was coronary embolism.²

HARN FUNERAL
Rev. E. C. Biller conducted the funeral service for Mrs. Alice F. Harn who died suddenly on May 6. The funeral took place at the Ross funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. after which the body was taken to Lakewood cemetery in Minneapolis where Dr. Hanford Russel conduct ed the burial service. Surviving Mrs. Harn are a sister, Mrs. O. H. Davis, of Sauk Rapids, and a brother, Fred Sackett, of Minneapolis.

     Diadama A. Sailor was born on 2 April 1840 at Indiana.¹ She married Isaiah Rush, son of Jesse Rush and Mary Sumption, on 1 October 1857. Diadama A.      Kathleen Marie Salamon was born on 13 July 1946 at Missouri.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel John Salamon and Melva Evelyn Huskey. Kathleen Marie Salamon married Paul John Coleman on 19 June 1965 at Festus, Jefferson Co., Missouri. Kathleen Marie Salamon married male Ball circa 1982. Kathleen Marie Salamon died on 9 September 2002 at Memorial Herman Health Care Center, Houston, Texas, at age 56.^1,2 She was buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri.^1,2 She lived in September 1955 at Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri.³ Kathleen Marie Salamon was a Clerk with US Postal Service.² Kathleen Marie Salamon was a Catholic.

Kathleen M. "Kathy" Salamon, 56, of Houston and formerly of Crystal City, died Monday (Sept. 9, 2002) at Memorial Herman Health Care Center in Houston.
Mrs. Salamon was a clerk with the Postal Service. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. She also was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 for 33 years.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 West Main Street, Festus-Crystal City. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 555 Bailey Road, Crystal City, with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1201 Missouri Avenue, Crystal City.
Among survivors are two sons, P. Bryon Coleman of Spring, Texas, and Chris J. Coleman of Atlanta; her parents, Samuel J. "Sam" and Melva E. Salamon of Crystal City; a sister, Dianne Perry of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.

     Samuel John Salamon was born on 18 April 1918 at Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri.¹ He married Melva Evelyn Huskey, daughter of John Franklin Huskey and Beulah E. Christopher, on 12 October 1940.² Samuel John Salamon died on 31 May 2010 at Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri, at age 92.¹ He was buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri.¹ He graduated in 1938 at Crystal City High School, Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri.² He began military service on 11 January 1944 at US Army. He ended military service on 3 May 1946. He lived in September 1955 at 105 Maple St., Crystal City, Jefferson Co., Missouri.²

Sam Salamon Is Popular Leader Of Legion Post

Sam Salamon, who lives with his wife, the former Miss Melva Huskey, and their two children, Dianne and Kathleen, at 105 Maple street, Crystal City, was installed last August 11 as commander of the local Amer. Legion Post. He was born in Crystal City, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Salamon. His father and brother, George, conducted a grocery store business in Crystal City for a number of years. His father retired from the business in 1946 and Sam bought out his interest in it and in 1949 his brother George sold his interest to Sam. The store is located at 103 Maple street, Crystal City.

Sam attended and completed his elementary school work at Sacred Heart, graduated from Crystal City high school in 1938 where he earned three letters in football and was considered an outstanding player in that sport.

Following graduation he entered the employment of the glass plant and worked in the warehouse department until 1941. On October 12, 1940, he was married to Miss Melva Huskey, daughter of the late John Huskey, who died several months ago, and Mrs. Beulah Bible, Catawissa, Missouri.      

In 1941, Mr. and Mrs. Salamon moved to St. Louis where Sam was employed for about a year at the Princeton Creamery, a supermarket, located at Kingshighway and Gravois. The Salamons then came back to Crystal City where Sam obtained employment at the Curtis Wright unit at the glass plant. In December 1943, he entered the armed forces and remained there until May 1945. During that time he was a clerk-typist for the 128th General Hospital Unit and spent about eight months in England. Soon after he was mustered out of service he again went to work at the glass plant and remained there until he purchased his father's interest in the store.

Since becoming a member in the Legion Sam has been an active worker in it and has served as assistant adjutant at two different periods and sergeant-at-arms for another year. He is a member of the Sacred Heart church, the Festus-Crystal City Elks and the Jefferson County YMCA. He likes to fish and hunt but his principal interests have been with the Legion.

He has one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Buckner, St. Louis, and four brothers. George who helps in the store at 103 Maple; Raymond, employed as a draftsmen in civil service in St. Louis; Joseph, a foreman in an aluminum ore plant in East St. Louis, Ill, and Anthony, an inspector in the Internal Revenue department in St. Louis. Raymond and Joseph attended Crystal City high school three years and Anthony is a graduate of the school.

Mrs. Sam Salamon was born on a farm near Belew's Creek, west of Hillsboro, on her grandmother's (Mrs. Mary Jane Huskey) farm. Her parents lived on the farm for about 18 months, then moved to St. Louis. She was in the kindergarten and first grade at Bryan Mullanphy school and when her father moved to Lemay she took the
second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades at Hancock school, located in the southeastern part of St. Louis county. Her seventh and eighth grades were spent at Washington school, located on Butler Hill road, near Mehlville.

She completed three years at Cleveland high school in St Louis and was married to Sam Salamon when she was 17 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Salamon have two children, Dianne, 13 years old and an eighth grade student at the Crystal City elementary school, and Kathleen, 9 years old, a fourth grade student at the same school.

She has been a member of the local American Legion Auxiliary for six years and has worked very hard in it. She is going on her third term as secretary and has served as chairman of the membership, girl's state and publicity committees at various times. This is her second year as second vice-president of the 13th district of the Auxiliary. She is a member of the 8 and 40 organization, composed of members of the 13th district. Her hobby is sewing, making slip covers and clothing for her children. She, as well as other members of her family, belongs to the Sacred Heart church. She has one sister, Mrs. Wilma Owens, St. Louis.

     Marina Salazar was born on 10 February 1891 at Ranchos de Taos, Taos Co., New Mexico. She married Fidel Struck, son of George David Struck and Maria Josefa Agapita Mondragon, in 1908 at Taos Co., New Mexico. Marina Salazar died on 27 August 1944 at Ranchos de Taos, Taos Co., New Mexico, at age 53.

     Roger Gonzales Salinas married Pamela Joy Nestaval, daughter of Gregory Edward Nestaval and Jacqueline Vera Hogan, before 2001.
