     Mary Bowditch Hallowell was born on 18 September 1902 at Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married John Crocker, son of Alvah Crocker and Charlotte Trowbridge Bartow. Mary Bowditch Hallowell died on 22 July 1992 at age 89.¹ She was buried at Groton Cemetery, Groton, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Hyrle Halsell was born on 29 August 1878. He married Nelly May Harn, daughter of Elmer H. Harn and Rachel Bugher Farquahr, on 25 February 1905 at Caldwell Co., North Carolina. Hyrle Halsell died on 11 September 1910 at age 32. He began military service on 11 May 1898 at US Army, Newton, Catawba Co., North Carolina.

Hyrle Halsell enlisted in the U.S. Army on May 11, 1898 in the Newton, N.C. Post Office. Two days later, he was assigned to Company G, 2nd Regiment of the Tenth N.C. Volunteer Infantry. He spent the next 6 months serving in this unit in the Spanish-American War in training in Raleigh, N.C. and guarding our Atlantic coastal area at Fort Fremont, Land's End, S.C. He mustered out of service on November 3, 1898 in Charlotte, N.C.

     Esther Alvina Halvorson was born on 25 October 1910 at Dalton, Otter Tail Co., Minnesota.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Henry Theodore Halvorson and Siri L. Nelson. Esther Alvina Halvorson married Edward John Nestaval, son of Joseph Nestaval and Anna Factor, on 25 September 1932 at Stanley, Mountrail Co., North Dakota. Esther Alvina Halvorson married John Erling Torske, son of Olaf Kristian Torske and Olise Olsen Bjørnsvig, on 2 October 1970 at Parshall, Mountrail Co., North Dakota. Esther Alvina Halvorson died on 11 June 2005 at Williston, Williams Co., North Dakota, at age 94.^3,4 She was buried at New Town Cemetery, New Town, Mountrail Co., North Dakota.^3,5,4 Esther Alvina Halvorson was a Homemaker. She lived on 16 April 1940 at Watford City, McKenzie Co., North Dakota. Esther Alvina Halvorson was a Lutheran.

Esther Alvina Halvorson moved to North Dakota with her parents in 1914 when she was three years old. She had one brother, Lloyd, and four sisters, Thelma, Violet, Hildred, and Nerissa. She along with her brother and sisters, attended Van Hook Public School. Esther met John Torkse in 1930 and also met Edward Nestaval. John Torkse moved to South Dakota. Esther married Edward John Nestaval on September 25, 1932.
Ed and Esther lived for a short time in Stanley, Williston, and Watford City, but they lived on a farm near Van Hook the majority of their married years. The farm was sold and is now under water due to the Garrison Dam Project. They moved to New Town, a city that was formed because of the flooding. Esther was a homemaker and also managed a cafe for a time. She also was employed at a women's dress shop in New Town for a few years. Ed and Esther were married for 32 years until Ed's death on September 5, 1964.
In the fall of 1967, Esther and John Torske met each other again. After renewing their acquaintance, they were married in Parshall, North Dakota, on October 2, 1970. They lived in Esther's house in New Town. They sold their home in 1988 and moved into the Golden Manor Apartments in New Town. Esther's brother, Lloyd, passed away in the fall of 1990. Lloyd had left his house to Esther. John and Esther moved into their new home in the Winter of 1990. Esther had blonde/reddish hair and blue eyes.

She lived in 1992 at New Town, Mountrail Co., North Dakota. Her Social Security Number was 501-32-0498, SSDI lists born 25 Oct 1910 and died 11 Jun 2005, social security number was issued in North Dakota, last residence was New Town, Mountrail Co., North Dakota.

     Helene Olena Halvorson was born on 27 September 1867 at Norway. She married Ralph Elmer Cook, son of Jacob C. Cook and Caroline E. Maze, on 26 June 1894 at Pierce Co., Wisconsin. Helene Olena Halvorson died on 24 November 1929 at Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 62.

     Lloyd Reynard Halvorson was born on 31 July 1902 at Dalton, Otter Tail Co., Minnesota.¹ He was the son of Henry Theodore Halvorson and Siri L. Nelson. Lloyd Reynard Halvorson was baptized on 31 August 1902 at Ten Mile Lake Lutheran, Dalton, Otter Tail Co., Minnesota. He was born circa 1903 at Minnesota info from 1910 Census. He married Hazel Olive Johnson.      Ernestine Glatha Hamilton was born on 6 May 1915 at Emaline, Jackson Co., Iowa.² She married Carl Delphas Pence, son of John Delphos Pence and Mabel Gertrude Caster, on 6 July 1938 at Sidney, Cheyenne Co., Nebraska.¹ Ernestine Glatha Hamilton died on 28 January 2001 at Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co., Indiana, at age 85.² She was buried on 3 February 2001 at Monmouth Cemetery, Monmouth, Jackson Co., Iowa.² She graduated in 1932 at Monmouth High School, Monmouth, Jackson Co., Iowa.²
