Harn married Frank Sylvester Booher circa 1905.1 Hattie D. Harn died on 3 June 1924 at Waco, McLennan Co., Texas, at age 46.1,3,2 She was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, McLennan Co., Texas.2

Mrs. Hattie Booher Dies
Hattie D. Booher, 47, died Tuesday morning at 10:30 at her home, 1118. Herring avenue, following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Booher had lived in Waco most of her life, though she was born in Calvert. She is survived by her husband, F.S. Booher, three children, her mother, Mrs. Agnes Harn, Waco, and one sister, Miss Allan Harn, Los Angeles, Cal. Funeral arrangements have not completed, pending word from relatives who may want to me for such services.

Lewistown- Louise Harn, 91, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:54 PM Thursday at Prairie View Care Center in Lewistown where she resided for the past 4 ½ years.

She was born July 9, 1923 at Lewistown, the daughter of Isaac and Opal (Wilcoxen) Harn. She is survived by one daughter, Darla (Leon) Henderson, one grandson, Robin (Tina) Henderson, two great grandchildren, Lacie and Isaac Henderson all of Lewistown. Also surviving are three sisters, Bernice White, Juanita Stufflebeam, and Jane Boyd, two brothers, Lewis (Lucille) Harn, and George (Thelma) Harn, and one sister in law, Irene Harn all of Lewistown. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Louise had last worked in the library at the Lewistown Grade School. She was a member of the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 Ladies Auxiliary where she had served as president several times. She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a choir member.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Bob Miner officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Street Christian Church. Condolences may be made at www.henrylange.com

     Herbert Elden Harn was born on 17 March 1860 at St. Anthony Falls, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.1,2 He was the son of Calvin Davis Harn and Rachel Rupel. Herbert Elden Harn married Alice M. Sackett, daughter of Simon Sackett and Elizabeth Bawman, on 17 March 1885 at Janesville, Waseca Co., Minnesota.3 Herbert Elden Harn died on 15 April 1931 at 4221 Crocker Ave., Morningside, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, at age 71.1,4,2 He was buried on 18 April 1931 at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.2 Photo of H.E. HARN, Ellis S., wife, born on April 1863 in MN, 37-years old, father born in New York and mother born in Kentucky. Has had only one child.

HARN, Hugh A., son, born Feb 1891 in MN, 9-years old, attending school.

He lived circa 1924 at 4221 Crocker Ave., Morningside, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.1 The cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage for 25 days and Hypostatic congestive lungs for 4 days. Contributory causes were chronic myocarditis and hypertension for unknown duration.1 Doris Spilman thought that H.E. Harn was an attorney in Madelia, Minnesota. Betty Swanke believes H.E. HARN was an attorney in Mpls. He lived in 1901 at Water 1 E of Main, Mason City, Cerro Gordo Co., Iowa; conductor for C & NW Railroad.5 He lived in 1907 at 122 Water, Mason City, Cerro Gordo Co., Iowa.6 He lived in 1919 at 313 N. Washington Ave., Mason City, Cerro Gordo Co., Iowa.7 Herbert Elden Harn was a railroad conductor for Chicago N.W. for 40 years, retiring July 1941.1

HERBERT E. HARN

Funeral services for Herbert E. Harn, 71 years old, who died Wednesday at the home of his son, Hugh, 4221 Crocker avenue, Morningside, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lakewood chapel. Burial will be in Lakewood cemetery. Mr. Harn was a member of the Modern Woodmen, Knights Templar and the A.O.U.W. He is survived by the widow and son, two brothers and two sisters.

He was the son of Wesley Jaleel Harn and Susanah T. Shipley. Herbert Wesley Harn married Minnie Rebecca Myers, daughter of Abraham C. Myers and Sarah Amanda Hoover, in 1898. Herbert Wesley Harn died on 28 April 1930 at Westminster, Carroll Co., Maryland, at age 53.3,2 He was buried at 18-03a, Sams Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery, New Windsor, Carroll Co., Maryland.2

HERBERT W. HARN

Herbert Wesley Harn died about noon on Monday at his home on Webster street, Westminster. He was the son of the late Wesley and Sarah Harn and was aged 53 years, nine months, and nine days. Besides his widow, Mrs. Minnie Harn, nee Myers, he is survived by three children: Abraham W., York. Pa; Mrs. Hannah M. Hamnes, Mexico; Miss Mary Harn, at home;
and three sisters: Mrs. John Baker, Hagerstown; Mrs. Charles Cook, Medford, Mrs. Dohnea Moore, Baltimore; four half-sisters: Mrs. Mrs. Nettie Eckard, Linganore; Mrs. Emma Poole and
Miss Cora Harn, Baltimore, and Mrs. Willie Rigle, Taylorsville, also several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday meeting at the late residence at 1 p. m., with further services conducted in Sam's Creek Church of the Brethren. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Harvey Bankard and Son are the funeral directors.

     Herman Harn was born on 20 February 1907.1 He was the son of Aden Wesley Harn and Sarah Catherine Lilley. Herman Harn married Katie Ada (?) Herman Harn died on 20 June 1932 at Luzerne Twsp., Fayette Co., Pennsylvania, at age 25.1,2 He was buried at Acklin Cemetery, Brownsville, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.2

The following undated obituary, was in letter from Mildred Harn March 1995:
Herman Harn 25, died June 20, 1932. He was crushed under a slate fall, while working in the Wierton Coal Company's mine at Isabella. His body was removed to the mortuary of Funeral director Paul R. Seeman, Carmichaels. He was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Harn of East Millsboro, Pa. In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Ada Harn, and a small daughter, Josephine, and 14 brothers and sisters. Funeral in Hopewell Presby. church, in charge of Rev. R.C. Van Eman, and burial in the church cemetery.

     Hester Harn was born abt 1772-1775 at Maryland.2,3 She was the daughter of John Hearn and Dorcas Davis. Hester Harn married John Davis, son of Garrard Davis Sr. and Nancy (?), abt 1792-1794 at Frederick Co., Maryland.4 Hester Harn died on 11 October 1831 at Fleming, Cayuga Co., New York.3 She died on 11 October 1831 at Maryland.2 She was buried at Davis Cemetery, Morristown, Shelby Co., Indiana.5 Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. Hester left Maryland with her husband, his father and her brother-Elijah in 1795. The father and brother went to Kentucky.3 In 1828, John Davis and Hester Harn emigrated to Shelbyville, Indiana.3

Howard Maywood Harn, age 78, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at the Friendship Villa in Miles City.

Howard was born on March 9, 1928 in Plentywood, Montana, the son of Ralph and Selma (Storaasli)Harn. He attended schools in Plentywood until the age of 16, when he entered into the Merchant Marines for two years. He then returned to Plentywood where he graduated from high school. Howard married Leona Lee Patneaude in 1951 in Independence, Missouri. In 1952, he entered the United States Coast Guard where he finished first in the nation with the Coast Guard test. He traveled around with the Coast Guard and retired in 1972 at Boston, Massachusetts. He then moved to Miles City where he has lived since.

Howard loved working with anything mechanical. He loved hunting, fishing, carving wood, doing leatherwork, and was an excellent pool player. Howard loved history and was always up on current affairs. He always kept a personal journal which he wrote in everyday. Howard loved traveling throughout the country with Lee and his family.

Howard is survived by her daughter, Susan Harn of Milltown, MT, a daughter Juanita and two granddaughters, Lanza and Leisha from a previous marriage, a brother, Larry Harn and Joan of Miles City, MT; a sister, Lorraine Zeitner and her husband Zeke of Miles City, MT, a special nephew Patrick Harn his wife Jennifer, an adopted son, Ernie Bighorn and his wife Mary and numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, numerous great nieces and nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lee Harn of 52 years, a son Daniel, an adopted daughter, Kathy Larsen, and a sister-in-law Joanne Souza.
