He died on 30 April 1998 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 61.³

Ronald G. Nelson, 61, of Red Wing, died Thursday, April 30, 1998 at his home. Services will be 1:30 Monday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Red Wing, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Homes, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church one hour prior to the services. Ronald G. Nelson was born on January 9, 1937 in Red Wing. He married June Banick on April 30, 1960 in Lake City. He had worked for McQuay International in Faribault and was a member of the Faribault Pheasants Forever. He is survived by his wife, June; four children; six grandchildren; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials are preferred to St. Pauls Lutheran Church building fund or Fairvview Red Wing Hospice.

Jenny Marie Nerud and Lee Roy Martin Schmidtke were divorced.

     Myles Benjamin Nerud was born on 17 June 1936 at Rice Co., Minnesota, File Number:     1936-MN-026059. He was the son of Benjamin Robert Nerud and Anna Dorthea Tupy. Myles Benjamin Nerud married Jane Marie Swenson. Myles was 20 years old when Duane was born.      Nancy Nesbit was born on 17 June 1926 at Livingston, Park Co., Montana.¹ She married Paul Edward Warfel, son of Paul Fred Warfel and Floy Madelenda Parks, on 24 March 1946 at Livingston, Park Co., Montana. Nancy Nesbit died on 11 August 2016 at Livingston, Park Co., Montana, at age 90.¹ The cause of death was multiple myeloma cancer.¹ She was buried at Emigrant Cemetery, Park Co., Montana.¹

     Linda Ann Ness married Robert James Kline, son of Joseph James Kline and Bozena Mildred Vrzal, on 17 February 1968 at Minnesota.¹

     Lucille Theresa Nessler married Allen Luther Smith.

     Alexa Nestaval is the daughter of Scott Gregory Nestaval and Staci Peterson Haskell.

     Alice Agnes Nestaval was born on 1 June 1907 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.² She was the daughter of John Joseph Nestaval and Antonia M. Vitha. Alice Agnes Nestaval married Harold Albert Guetzkow, son of Henry Frederick Guetzkow and Minnie M. (?), circa 1937. Her Social Security Number was 477-09-8265, issued in Minnesota. Alice Agnes Nestaval died on 21 July 1976 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota, at age 69. She was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota.

     Ann Nestaval was born in May 1876 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.² She was the daughter of Jacob Nestaval and Barbara Kardon. Ann Nestaval married Thomas Sklenar, son of Frank Sklenar and Katherine Hovet, on 12 February 1894 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota. Ann Nestaval was a housewife. She died on 2 May 1905 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.³ The cause of death was Tuberculosis. Heavy set and had back trouble. She was buried circa 1905 at Calvary Cemetery, Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota. Ann Nestaval was a Catholic.

Kaisersatt and Katrina Havel, on 6 July 1905 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota.^4,5,6 Anna Eleanor Nestaval died on 20 April 1916 at Pokegama Tuberculosis Sanatorium, Pokegama, Pine Co., Minnesota, at age 33.⁷ She was buried at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.³ Anna Eleanor Nestaval was a Catholic.

Mrs. Anna Nestaval Kaisersatt, wife of County Auditor Kaisersatt, died Thursday evening at the sanitarium at Pokegama, where she has been a patient for the last six months. She had been ill with a serious throat trouble for two or three years. Everything possible had been done, but nothing availed. Leaves little daughter motherless. For a year the family had been apprehensive that she could not recover, it being feared that she could not overcome the malady which resisted the best medical skill that could be procured, and it having been found no climatic change was beneficial. In recent weeks it was apparent that she could not long survive, and a month ago Mr. Kaisersatt and her father and mother were called to her bedside. She rallied, and was better for a little time, but within the last week no hope was held out. Mr. Kaisersatt received a message barely in time to catch the 11:40 Milwaukee train Thursday, but it was not known whether he reached his destination before her death or not. About 9 o'clock Thursday night he phoned the sad news back to Faribault.
Mrs. Kaisersatt was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nestavel [sic], who live near Montgomery. Both father and mother survive, and there are six sisters, one brother and one step-brother. The sisters are Mrs. Thomas Skluzacek of Lonsdale, Mrs. Elizabeth Hubbard, who has been in Faribault during the past winter, and the Misses Rose, Beatrice, Stella, and Genevieve. Edward lives near Montgomery and the step-brother, Frank Nestaval, lives at Salida, Colorado. Mrs. Kaisersatt leaves, besides her husband, one little daughter, Harriet, who has been staying with her grandparents since the mother's absence from home. J.F. McCarthy went to Pokegama Friday morning, and with Mr. Kaisersatt, will accompany the body to Faribault. They are expected to arrive Friday night, and announcement of the funeral will be made Saturday. Burial will be made at Maple Lawn.⁷

Pokegama Tuberculosis Sanatorium was located on the outskirts of Pine City, Minnesota. "Pokegama catered to patients who could pay their own way. Rates per week ranged from $30 to $50. When the county sanatoriums opened, their rates ranged from free for the indigent person to $7 for those who could pay. Pokegama also furnished electric blankets for each bed, rather than the five to 10 woolen blankets issued at the county institutions".

Catherine Nestaval married James Vach circa 1884. Catherine Nestaval was buried circa 1907 at Calvary Cemetery, Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.¹ She died in 1907 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.² Tombstone dated 1868-1907. Owned Grocery Store in Montgomery, Minnesota.
