ROCK SPRINGS — George Struck, 82, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at his home. He was a long time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming.

He was born on December 25, 1931 in Casper, Wyoming, the son of the late William and Freda Struck.

Mr. Struck attended schools in Superior, Wyoming and St. Anthony’s in Casper, Wyoming and graduated from Natrona High School in 1950.

He married Georgia Fay Warfel Struck on April 21, 1956 in Casper, Wyoming.

Mr. Struck was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He served from May 30, 1950 until April 15, 1954 when he was honorably discharged.

He was employed as a mechanic and a salesman at Morgantown Machine and retired in 2000.

Mr. Struck was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.

His interests included camping, hunting, fishing and he loved the outdoors. Following his retirement, he took care of his disabled son David. He was a proud Wyoming Native and enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren out of doors

Survivors include his wife Georgia Fay Struck of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one son Dan Struck of Rock Springs, Wyoming; three daughters Susan Nichols and husband Steve, Bonnie Legerski and husband Bob all of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Terri Redman and husband Steve of Layton, Utah; three grandsons Matt Legerski and wife Meagan, Phillip Trujillo-Nichols and Dan Nichols and wife Sarah; one grand-daughter Kristin Legerski Doerr and husband Jason; three great-grandchildren Ava Doerr, Addison Doerr and Sadie Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son David Struck.

Cremation will take place and A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Avenue, Rock Springs, Wyoming. A vigil service with rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Friends may call at the Vase Chapel, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming on Sunday one hour prior to the rosary and on Monday at the church, one hour prior to services.¹
He was buried at Rock Springs Cemetery, Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.³

Upon his death, his family received a Presidential Memorial Certificate for George William Struck, from President Obama.

     Jane Eva Struck was born on 27 January 1928. She was the daughter of William Ismael Struck and Cleofitas Trujillo. Jane Eva Struck died on 10 March 1929 at age 1. She was buried at Highland Cemetery, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.

     Lettie Struck was born circa 1872 at Taos Co., New Mexico. She was the daughter of George David Struck and Maria Josefa Agapita Mondragon.

Marcella Struck graduated in 1979 at Taos High School, Taos, Taos Co., New Mexico. She married Jessie Miera. Marcella Struck lived in May 2004 at Ranchos de Taos, Taos Co., New Mexico.² She died on 10 March 2012 at Taos Co., New Mexico, at age 50.¹ She was buried at Saint Francis Cemetery, Ranchos de Taos, Taos Co., New Mexico.¹

     Maria Manuela Struck was born circa 1880 at Taos Co., New Mexico. She was the daughter of George David Struck and Maria Josefa Agapita Mondragon.

     Mary Struck was born in November 1895 at New Mexico information from 1900 New Mexico Census. She was the daughter of George Struck and Juanita Teresa Tafoya. Mary Struck married Joseph M. Varos in 1918. Mary Struck lived in May 1946 at Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming. She died in December 1989 at Colorado at age 94. She was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park, Boulder, Boulder Co., Colorado.¹

     Meliton Struck was born on 21 March 1902 at New Mexico.¹ He was the son of Francisco Grant Struck and Rumalda Aragon. Meliton Struck married Clorinda Martinez. Meliton Struck died on 5 December 1975 at age 73.¹ He was buried at Saint Francis Cemetery, Ranchos de Taos, Taos Co., New Mexico.¹

     Meliton Struck Jr. is the son of Meliton Struck and Clorinda Martinez.

     Orlinda Struck is the daughter of Bernabe P. Struck and Dolores Frances Trujillo.

     Priscilla S. Struck was born on 4 July 1928 at New Mexico.¹ She was the daughter of Meliton Struck and Clorinda Martinez. Priscilla S. Struck married Dalio Martinez Jr. Priscilla S. Struck died on 15 August 2023 at Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., New Mexico, at age 95.¹ She was buried at Sec 16 Site 54, Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, Santa Fe Co., New Mexico.¹

     Susan Renee Struck is the daughter of George William Struck and Georgia Fay Warfel. Susan Renee Struck married Steven J. Nichols, son of Arthur S. Nichols and Eva J. Maddox, on 4 May 1985.

     Terresa Ann Struck is the daughter of George William Struck and Georgia Fay Warfel. Terresa Ann Struck and Steven Harn Redman were engaged on 25 August 2001 at Chinese Gourmet Restaurant, Roy, Davis Co., Utah. Terresa Ann Struck married Steven Harn Redman, son of Gerald Lewis Harn and Mary Lou McCarthy, on 25 May 2002 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.^1,2

     Viola Virginia Struck was born on 29 January 1929 at Superior, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.¹ She was the daughter of William Ismael Struck and Cleofitas Trujillo. Viola Virginia Struck graduated in 1948 at Natrona County High School, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming. She married Leslie Allen Bullington, son of Raymond Noel Bullington and Josephine Isabell Millspaugh, on 19 April 1952 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming. Viola Virginia Struck lived in December 1964 at Sidney, Cheyenne Co., Nebraska.² She lived in May 2013 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming. She died on 9 March 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming, at age 89.¹

Viola Virginia Bullington, age 89, of Casper, passed away March 9, 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Viola was born
January 29, 1929 in Superior, Wyoming to William and Freda (Trujillo) Struck. Viola moved to Casper, Wyoming and
graduated from Natrona County High School in 1948.
Vi married Leslie A. Bullington on April 18, 1952. To this union was born five children.
Viola was an Administrative Specialist for many years for a variety of companies beginning at Tripeny Motors and
ending with the State of Wyoming Corrections and Parole, where she retired in 2000 after 17 years.
Vi was a devoted member of St. Patricks Church of Casper. She loved sports and attending her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren's sporting events. Vi was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Most will remember her fashion sensematching
from head to toe with every color shoes you could imagine.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Leslie, her parents, her brother, George Struck and her sister, Betty Howell;
five grandsons, Christopher Bullington, Beau Bullington, Charles Turk, Chad Turk, and David Turk, and a son-in-law,
Terry Halbert.

She is survived by her children, Les (Tammy) Bullington, of Greeley, Colorado; George (Benita) Bullington, of Casper,
Wyoming; Carol Halbert of Marble Falls, Texas; Cheryl Ayers (Huey Caster) and Thomas Bullington, of Clayton, New
Mexico. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-granchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5:00pm until the recital of the Rosary
beginning at 7:00pm at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, March 16, 2018 at St.
Patricks Catholic Church with a graveside service to follow at Highland Cemetery.

Funeral services for William Struck, 41, of Superior will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the South Side Catholic church. The Rev. John Marley will conduct the funeral mass, and burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock tonight at the Rogan mortuary chapel.
Struck died Wednesday at Wyoming General hospital. He had lived at Superior for four years, where he was in the employ of the Union Pacific Coal company. Struck was born Aug. 4, 1904, in Taos, N.M.
He is survived by his wife, Freda, and three children, Viola, Betty and George William Struck, all at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Varos of Rock Springs, and one brother, Albert Struck of Portsmouth, Va. He was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Trujillo of Casper.⁴ He was buried at Rock Springs Cemetery, Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.²

     Willie Struck was born circa 1925 at New Mexico. He was the son of Meliton Struck and Clorinda Martinez.

     Robert Grindeland Strunk was born on 19 May 1918 at Thief River Falls, Pennington Co., Minnesota.¹ He married Dorothy Noel, daughter of Clifford Elmer Noel and Inga Brooten, in 1938.² Robert Grindeland Strunk died on 22 September 1979 at Warren, Marshall Co., Minnesota, at age 61.¹ He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, Marshall Co., Minnesota.¹

     Margaret E. Stuart was born on 4 June 1890.¹ She married Trebert Sloan Harn, son of Albert Malin Harn and Minnie Mae Heflin, in 1909. Margaret E. Stuart died on 21 February 1935 at Table Grove, Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 44.¹ She was buried at Harris Cemetery, Adair, McDonough Co., Illinois.¹
