Levi Crawford, Sr., died at his home in Luzerne Township, this county, May 13, 1885, aged 86 years. Mr. Crawford lived all his life in Luzerne Township, and belonged to that numerous family of that Twp. His wife died about three years ago, and shortly after her death, he had a conference with Mark R. Moore, Esq., in which he requested him to attend to his burial, and drive the vehicle in which he was conveyed to the graveyard. In accordance with his request, Mr. Moore performed that duty. The deceased leaves four sons and two daughters. The daughters and two of the sons reside in Luzerne Twp., one other son in Greene Co., Pa., and the other near Smock on the V.P. & C. R.R.
