     Earl Wesley Chalfant was born on 10 June 1908 at Story, Sheridan Co., Wyoming.^2,3 He married Nellie E. Carr on 8 May 1928 at Hardin, Big Horn Co., Montana.³ Earl Wesley Chalfant married Jewel Fern Weidman, daughter of William Frederick Weidman and Jane Walker, in 1965.¹ Earl Wesley Chalfant died on 21 June 2001 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming, at age 93.^2,3

CASPER - Graveside services for Earl Wesley Chalfant, 93, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today in Highland Cemetery, with Fr. Ken Kinner of Holy Family Church officiating.
He died June 21,2001, at Life Care Center of Casper.
He was born June 10, 1908, in Story, the son of Milo and Arley (Carpenter) Chalfant.
In 1928, he married Nellie Carr. She preceded him in death in 1964.
He then married Jewell Cunningham, who preceded him in death in 1983.
He was a skilled carpenter and cabinet maker. He had been Santa Claus at Eastridge Mall, worked in commodities and was in a commercial for hearing aids.
He was a lifetime member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and belonged to the Carpenter's Union for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church, AARP, RSVP, Senior Citizens Advisory Board and Sheriff's Posse Patrol; had served on the Silver-Haired Legislature, Allendale Sewer Board and Casper Mountain Pine Beetle Association; and had helped with Special Olympics and Scout-a-Rama.
Survivors include two daughters, C.B. Platt of Casper and Diana Watson of Albuquerque, N.M; a sister, Josephine Felix of Yuma, Ariz; a brother, Wade Chalfant of Gillette; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Rex, Lee, Vincent, Scotty, John and Lenley; and a sister, Thelma Smith.
The family would appreciate memorials to the Blue Envelope Health Fund. 1025 S. Durbin, Casper 82601; or Central Wyoming Senior Citizens Center, 1831 E Fourth St., Casper 82601. Memorials may be left at Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory, which is in charge of arrangements.

     Theresa Elizabeth Chalupa was born circa 1898 at Minnesota CENSUS: 1920 MN, LeSueur Co., Montgomery, E.D. 75 or 25, sheet 3. She was born on 6 October 1898 at Minnesota.¹ She was born on 26 October 1898.² She married Albert John Vrzal, son of Mathias Vrzal and Mary Kubes, in 1917. Theresa Elizabeth Chalupa died on 7 September 1970 at Scott Co., Minnesota, at age 71.^2,1 She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.¹

     Susan M. Chamberlain was born circa 1840 at Ohio.¹ She married Samuel Redman, son of Daniel Redman and Emily Jane Tolle, on 9 October 1856 at Monroe, Adams Co., Ohio. Susan M. Chamberlain died on 20 December 1917 at Adams Co., Ohio.² She was buried at Berea Chapel Cemetery, Scioto Co., Ohio.²

     William James Chandler was born in 1940.¹ He married Hope Cunard Hallenbeck, daughter of Harold Engle Hallenbeck and Myra B. Thompson, on 12 June 1976 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California. William James Chandler died in 1987.¹ He was buried at Westwood Memorial Park, Westwood, Los Angeles Co., California.¹

     Shanna Lee Chaney married William David Fellows, son of Elbert Clifton Fellows and Norma Janet Burkett, on 11 September 1982 at Gallatin Co., Montana.

     Fredericka Elva Chapman was born on 20 September 1927 at Columbia Falls, Flathead Co., Montana.¹ She married Cecil E. Combs on 15 August 1944 at Hot Springs, Sanders Co., Montana. Fredericka Elva Chapman died on 29 April 2006 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana, at age 78.¹ She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Columbia Falls, Flathead Co., Montana.¹

     Patricia Jeanne Chapman married Jerry Oliver Houser, son of Albert Charles Houser and Nettie Irene Ballou, on 21 June 1952 at King Co., Washington.¹ Patricia Jeanne Chapman and Jerry Oliver Houser were divorced on 2 April 1954 at Seattle, King Co., Washington.

     Robert Terrence Chapman was born on 8 May 1943 at San Mateo Co., California. He married Marray Roverta Snider, daughter of Harry Wellington Snider and Roverta Margurette Nestaval, on 23 June 1963 at Los Angeles Co., California. Robert Terrence Chapman died on 16 September 2017 at Fountain Valley, Orange Co., California, at age 74.

     Dale Le Roy Chard is the son of Robert William Chard and Betty Wilma Jahn.

     Leroy Russel Chard is the son of Melvin Norman Chard and Joyce Elizabeth Vach. Leroy Russel Chard married Cheryl L. Sass on 3 February 1973 at Scott Co., Minnesota. Leroy Russel Chard and Cheryl L. Sass were divorced on 15 June 1983 at Sibley Co., Minnesota.

     Martin Dale Chard is the son of Robert William Chard and Betty Wilma Jahn.

     Melvin Norman Chard was born on 19 September 1916 at Belle Plaine Twsp., Scott Co., Minnesota.¹ He married Joyce Elizabeth Vach, daughter of Joseph William Vach and Elizabeth F. Kriz, on 14 June 1937 at Scott Co., Minnesota. Melvin Norman Chard died on 13 June 1961 at Scott Co., Minnesota, at age 44.¹ He was buried at North End New Row F Grave 4, Calvary Cemetery, Jordan, Scott Co., Minnesota.¹

     Peggy Joyce Chard is the daughter of Melvin Norman Chard and Joyce Elizabeth Vach.

     Robert William Chard is the son of Melvin Norman Chard and Joyce Elizabeth Vach. Robert William Chard married Betty Wilma Jahn on 22 September 1962 at Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.

     William Melvin Chard was born on 20 June 1938 at Jordan, Scott Co., Minnesota.¹ He was the son of Melvin Norman Chard and Joyce Elizabeth Vach. William Melvin Chard married Agnes Wilma Cervenka on 24 June 1961 at Scott Co., Minnesota. William Melvin Chard died on 11 January 2021 at Mesa, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 82.¹ He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Belle Plaine, Scott Co., Minnesota.¹

     Cyrus Fletcher Chase was born on 11 February 1924 at Valley City, Barnes Co., North Dakota. He married Betty Lou Lindgren circa February 1944 at Washington. Cyrus Fletcher Chase died on 18 March 2011 at Oregon at age 87.

     Hulda Chase was born on 25 August 1804 at New York.² She married Ezra Marvin. Hulda Chase died on 16 March 1868 at Tyrone, Schuyler Co., New York, at age 63.² She was buried at Rock Stream Cemetery, Rock Stream, Yates Co., New York.²

     Gail Marie Chavie is the daughter of Jerome Chavie and Lucille Duffney. Gail Marie Chavie married Joseph Lawrence Zimmerman, son of Wallace Zimmerman and Rachel Bushey, on 31 October 1959 at Rice Co., Minnesota.¹

     Jerome Chavie married Lucille Duffney.

     Charles Chearhart married Susan Clearhart on 4 March 1862.

     Elenaor Dell Chearhart was also known as Della E.¹ She was born circa February 1873 at Indiana CENSUS: 1900 IN, St. Joseph Co., Harris twsp., E.D. 101, Sheet 11. She was born on 21 February 1873 at Harris Twsp., St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Chearhart and Susan Clearhart. Elenaor Dell Chearhart married Delbert Shimp, son of John M. Shimp and Sara Josephine Longley, on 31 October 1895 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.³ Elenaor Dell Chearhart died on 28 February 1958 at Granger, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 85.¹

Mrs. Della E. Shimp, Rt. 1, Granger, died at 2 a.m. today in her residence. She has been ill since Nov. 12 when she fell and suffered a broken hip. She was born Feb. 21, 1873, in Harris Twp., and lived in that vicinity all of her life. She was married Oct. 30, 1895 to Delbert Shimp who died March 22, 1947. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary A. Monhant, South Bend, and Mrs. Fred F. Hawkins, Granger; six grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. Services will be conducted there a 2 p.m. Sunday by Rev. Arnold Schaap, pastor of the Granger Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Mrs. Shimp had been a life member of Granger Presbyterian Church and a member of Gleaner's Lodge.¹ She was buried on 2 March 1958 at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.²

     Elizabeth Kingsbury Cheney was born on 24 April 1806 at Massachusetts. She married Daniel Rice on 3 November 1825 at Massachusetts. Elizabeth Kingsbury Cheney died on 8 August 1891 at Providence, Providence Co., Rhode Island, at age 85.

     Lena Louise Cherico was born on 23 June 1909 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.¹ She married Marion Alwin Warfel, son of Harry Ernest Warfel and Edith Lewis. Lena Louise Cherico married male Kolsen. Lena Louise Cherico died on 8 November 1996 at age 87.¹ She was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo Co., California.¹

     Gerald Lee Cheshier was born on 20 April 1935 at Toppenish, Yakima Co., Washington.¹ He married Clovis Maude Harrod, daughter of Lloyd Levi Harrod and Katheleen Lenore Arnette, on 10 June 1964 at Monterey Co., California. Gerald Lee Cheshier and Clovis Maude Harrod were divorced in March 1966 at Monterey Co., California. Gerald Lee Cheshier died on 18 July 1996 at Monterey, Monterey Co., California, at age 61.¹ He was buried at Burial Details Unknown.¹
