Mrs. Yvonne Payne, age 79, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida passed away May 2, 2019. She was born September 21, 1939 to Basil Barry and Esther McCarthy Mrs. Payne was Catholic by faith and a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Freeport. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Payne Jr; brothers Gilbert Barry, Basil Barry, Philip Barry; sisters Charlotte Barry and Sylvia Barry; and sister-in-law Adele.
Mrs. Payne is survived by her four sons James Payne III of Twin Lake, Michigan, Steven Payne and wife Tracy of Hesperia, Michigan, Andrew Payne and wife Karen of Evergreen, Colorado and Dr. Alan Payne and wife Juli of Destin, Florida; one sister Aline Barry; one brother Stephen Barry; grandchildren Dr. Carey Check-Sonnenberg and husband Michael, Kevin Payne and Melissa, Bryan Payne and wife Desaree, Cameron Payne, Anastasia Payne, Makayla Payne, Jacob Payne, Nathan Payne, and Alyanna Payne, Charlie Hickey and husband Jacob, and Randi Bevins and Cody; and great~ grandchildren Lance Payne, Trevor Payne, Langston Payne, Alyssa Payne, Bryan Payne Jr, Katie Payne, Madeline Check, Marli Check, Kenleigh Moorman, Ainsleigh Moorman, Baylee Hickey, and Grayson Hickey. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Mr. Bartel was born in Steele "County, MN., the son of Dorothy Seykora Barrel Meek of Hayfield, MN. and the late Paul Emil Bartel. He was a retired executive chef for the Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL. and spent-most of his life as an executive chef, rock hound and gem miner. Survivors include: His wife of 15 years, Jean Marie Spilman Bartel; daughter Denise Hassenstab of St. Paul, MN; sons Douglas Bartel of Woodbury, MN. and Dean Bartel, Winter Park, FL; sister Caroline D(?)blar, Rochester, MN; brother Ted Barrel, Dodge Center, MN; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bryant Funeral Home of Franklin, N.C. is in charge of arrangements.

     Charlotte Trowbridge Bartow was born on 1 January 1860 at Astoria, Queens Co., New York.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel B. Bartow and Sarah Trowbridge. Charlotte Trowbridge Bartow married Alvah Crocker on 14 October 1880. Charlotte Trowbridge Bartow died on 17 December 1931 at Katonah, Westchester Co., New York, at age 71.¹ She was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Leonard Bartow was born on 6 June 1869 at Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York. He was the son of Samuel B. Bartow and Sarah Trowbridge. Leonard Bartow died on 4 December 1914 at Elm Hill House for Feeble Minded, Barre, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, at age 45. He was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.¹

Mildred Virginia Harn Barr, 90, of Wilkes-Barre, formerly of Bentleyville, died Monday, November 26, 2001, in Dorrance Manor, Kingston. She was born May 25, 1911, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of Jesse and Goldie Huey Bock.
Mrs. Barr lived in Bentleyville from 1937 to 1997 and moved to Wilkes-Barre in April 1997. Mrs. Barr was a member of Wesleyan Church of Bentleyville and its Missionary Society and Bentworth Senior Citizens. In 1972, she retired from the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind in Pittsburgh after 10 years of service. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Bienia of Wilkes-Barre; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are her first husband, Paul Duff Harn, who died July 13, 1966; her second husband, Marvin Francis Barr; two sons, Gerald and Eugene Harn; a daughter, Louise Kotchman; three brothers, Eugene, Fred and Paul Bock; and two sisters, Lillie Cavrich and Betty Shafer.¹ She was buried at Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, Washington Co., Pennsylvania.³
