     William E. Lugenbeel was born in October 1855 at Maryland.² He was the son of John Henry Lugenbeel and Elizabeth Corella Harn. In 1902 William E. Lugenbeel was a president, at Austin College, Effingham, Effingham Co., Illinois.³ The cause of death was Chronic endocarditis.² He died on 13 February 1923 at Danville, Hendricks Co., Indiana, at age 67.² He was buried on 17 February 1923 at Mitchell City Cemetery, Mitchell, Lawrence Co., Indiana.⁴

Pastor Phil Moran will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
Elbert was born June 4, 1927 in Caldwell, Idaho, to Frank and Mildred Luhr. He was so precious there are no words to tell how much he touched the lives of every person he met. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mildred Luhr; his sister, Phyllis Lyon; and his wife, Ellen. Elbert is survived by his brother, Delmar; his three daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Benny Greene, Kathy and Ted Hunt, and Vicki and Jerry Simmons; as well as seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

     Martin D. Luhr is the son of Delmar Dale Luhr and Violet Estelle Redman. Martin D. Luhr married Joanne A. (?) Martin D. Luhr and Joanne A. (?) were divorced.

     Phyllis Adean Luhr was born in 1927 at Idaho. She was the daughter of Frank Luhr and Mildred Lucile Johns. Phyllis Adean Luhr died on 11 February 2010.

Noel, son of Clifford Elmer Noel and Inga Brooten, on 19 April 1944.¹ Alverda Mae Lund died on 8 October 2002 at Thief River Falls, Pennington Co., Minnesota, at age 79.¹ She was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, Pennington Co., Minnesota.¹

     Edson Lund married Ruth Hjelseth in 1953.¹

     Sarah Lund is the daughter of Edward E. Hansen and Kari D. Detwiler.¹ Sarah Lund married Jason Patrick Ramsdell.¹

     John William Luttrell was born on 12 January 1889 at New York. He married Julia P. Perkins, daughter of Henry Martin Pease and Jessie Fife. John William Luttrell died on 15 October 1972 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at age 83.

     Louis Otto Lutz was born on 30 April 1896 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., California.¹ He married Veria Elizabeth Eden. Louis Otto Lutz died on 21 February 1955 at Klamath Falls, Klamath Co., Oregon, at age 58.¹ He was buried at Nevada City, Nevada Co., California.¹

     Virginia Ann Lutz was born on 10 June 1931 at Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon.^1,2 She was the daughter of Louis Otto Lutz and Veria Elizabeth Eden.¹ Virginia Ann Lutz married Robert Doud Martin Sr., son of Arrelis Buster Connally and Helen Lydia Hedborg, in 1952.^1,3 Virginia Ann Lutz and Robert Doud Martin Sr. were divorced in 1973 at Washington. Virginia Ann Lutz died on 17 January 2015 at Gig Harbor, Pierce Co., Washington, at age 83.² She was buried at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Gig Harbor, Pierce Co., Washington.²

     Isabelle Lyman was born on 24 November 1908 at Parowan, Iron Co., Utah. She married Elden Wallace Sanders on 27 May 1926 at Basin, Big Horn Co., Wyoming. Isabelle Lyman died on 23 October 1998 at Lovell, Big Horn Co., Wyoming, at age 89.

     Helen Katherine Lynch was born on 24 July 1908 at DuPage Co., Illinois.¹ She married Wayne Stouffer Fox in 1928. Helen Katherine Lynch died on 1 January 1998 at Burr Ridge, DuPage Co., Illinois, at age 89.¹

A Mass of the Resurrection for Helen K. Fox, 89, of West Chicago, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. The Rev. Vern Arseneau will officiate.

Born July 24, 1908, in West Chicago, to James and Hanna Lynch, she died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at King Bruwaert House, Burr Ridge. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Fox had been a resident of West Chicago virtually all of her life and was a direct descendant of Peter Baker, whose pre-Civil War home on Prince Crossing has been restored through the generosity of Mrs. Fox and her family. She and her husband, Wayne S. Fox, were also instrumental in the redevelopment of the former Chicago and Northwestern Railroad train station in West Chicago into the Wayne and Helen Fox Community Center.

Mrs. Fox was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Catholic Daughters of America Court 432 of West Chicago. She was also a former member of the West Chicago Garden Club.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne S. Fox; son, David W. ('Mike') Fox of Burr Ridge; granddaughters, Susan (Matthew) McGuire of Hinsdale and Katherine (Ryan) Lanham of Chicago; grandsons, David W. (Alexandra) Fox Jr. of New Canaan, Conn., and Thomas E. Fox of Beaverton, Ore; brother, Thomas Lynch of West Chicago; sister, Mae Reuland; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

     Willis Charles Lyster Sr. was born on 1 August 1924 at Beloit, Mitchell Co., Kansas.¹ He married Oline Marie Dolezal, daughter of male Dolezal and Eleanor Percy. Willis Charles Lyster Sr. died on 5 January 1999 at Stockton, San Joaquin Co., California, at age 74.¹ He was buried at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland, Yolo Co., California.¹

     Edmond Lytle was the son of Robert Lytle and Hannah Knox.¹ Edmond Lytle lived in 1885 at near Sidney, Shelby Co., Ohio.¹

     James Lytle was the son of Robert Lytle and Hannah Knox.¹ With his death, James left a family in St. Mary's, Ohio.¹ James Lytle died before 1885.¹

     Lindol Sprague Lytle was born after 1866.¹ He was born on 12 September 1867 at Ohio. He was the son of Reynolds Knox Lytle and Mary Sprague.¹ Lindol Sprague Lytle married Fannie Hume in 1887. Lindol Sprague Lytle was a railroad brakeman. He died on 17 October 1902 at Ohio at age 35.

Remains Brought Home-Funeral Sunday Afternoon at 2:30 From Presbyterian Church.

Additional particulars have been received regarding the shocking death of Lindol S. Lytle, which occurred near Pleasant Bend at about noon Friday, while in the discharge of his ties as brakeman on the Clover. No one saw the accident occur and the particulars can only be surmised. A passenger from Frankfort, Ind., in the local caboose, and was the last one to talk to Lytle. As soon as the train left Pleasant Bend he climbed to the top of the train and started for the engine. It is supposed that he was climbing from the top of a boxcar on to a gondola, loaded with cinders, when he missed his footing and fell to the rails below. The first intimation oi the accident was noticed when a piece of Lytle's clothing was seen to fly from the rail to the ditch beside the road bed. The train was immediately stopped and the remains picked up. Death was instantaneous. One leg was entirely severed, an arm broken, his chest crushed and the top and back of his head terribly mangled. The remains were brought to on Clover Leaf passenger train No. 5 Friday evening, and taken to Jauman’s undertaking establishment and prepared for burial. They were conveyed to the home of the grief stricken widow on west Third street this morning.
Mr. Lytle was a member of the Royal Arcanum and was also a member the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen. The funeral will be held from Presbyterian church, Sunday afternoon, at 2:30 sun time. The services will be conducted by the pastor, A. O. Raber, and the remains interred the West Side cemetery. A greater portion of the church will be for the relatives and friends.
