     Samuel Evans Harn was born in 1855 at Pennsylvania.¹ He was born on 20 December 1856 at Pennsylvania.² He was the son of Samuel D. Harn and Mary Moore. Samuel Evans Harn died on 25 June 1927 at German Twsp., Fayette Co., Pennsylvania, at age 70.² He was buried at McClellandtown Presbyterian Cemetery, McClellandtown, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.²

     Samuel Marcelius Harn was born circa 1843 at Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of Levi Orendorf Harn and Zerua Ann Duval. Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. Emigrated to Texas with his mother and brothers. Left Texas around 1872.

     Sara Frances Harn was born on 5 June 1868 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Thomas Harn and Mary Frances Richardson. Sara Frances Harn married Lincoln Abraham Dornbusch on 5 June 1887 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ Sara Frances Harn died on 17 January 1955 at St. Petersburg, Pinellas Co., Florida, at age 86.² She was buried at Division I -South Lawn Gardens, Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Pinellas Co., Florida.²

     Sarah Harn was born on 29 July 1820.^1,2 She married male Lee. Sarah Harn was the daughter of Perry G. Harn and Eva Strohm.

     Sarah Harn was born circa 1871 at Illinois information from 1880 Illinois Census. She was the daughter of Robert Wilson Harn and Harriet Levingston.

     Sarah Anne Harn was born on 30 May 1825 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of John (II) Harn and Charlotte Hay. Sarah Anne Harn married Rev. Alvin Dighton Williams, son of Phineas Cromwell Williams and Mary Marilla Loomis, on 24 April 1850 at West Falls, Frederick Co., Maryland.⁵ Sarah Anne Harn died on 4 February 1901 at Kenesaw, Adams Co., Nebraska, at age 75.^2,5,4 Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. Dr. Alvin D. Williams and his wife Sarah Harn Williams, filled a very large place in the and intellectual life of the community. Mrs. Williams was born in Maryland in 1825 and died in Kenesaw, February 4, 1900. She was a woman of wide reading and at a period when it was unusual for girls to acquire more than the rudiments of an education. Miss Harn was a student at Cedar Hill Seminary in Southern Pennsylvania and afterwards a teacher.

"Kenesaw was started in 1872, although four pre-emptors had taken claims in 1871, later selling their claims to the Burlington Railroad. The first permanent settlers there were Dr. and Mrs. A.D. Williams and their two youngsters, who lived for their first weeks there in a covered wagon box, setting up the cook stove outside in a kitchen bounded only by the horizon. Their first visitors were Pawnee Indians returning from a hunt on the upper Republican. Seeing the wagon perched on the prairie, they stopped and begged for food, the frightened Williams family giving them so much that they had to go back to Juniato the next day to replenish their larder. Other Pawnees and sometimes Omahas stopped later but were never again so successful."

The Free Will Baptist Church was organized November 13, 1883. The charter members were Rev. A.D. Williams, D.D., and wife, Sarah Harn Williams, James R. Currier, Lewis Currier, Lydia Currier, Kate Boley, Sarah J. Needham, Perry Hodges and Annie Currier. Dr. A.D. Williams, the clerk of the church, superintended the building, and raised the money to pay for the church with the exception of $200 which was appropriated for the purpose of assistance by the general conference at Minneapolis. This phase of co-operation in the Baptist denomination Doctor Williams took great interest in promoting, and he wrote a history of the movement in a volume entitled, "Four Years of Co-operation." This was the first church to be erected in Kenesaw. Doctor Williams was the first pastor.

She was buried at Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, Adams Co., Nebraska.^6,4

     Sarah Blanche Harn was born on 13 January 1887 at Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.² She was the daughter of John Morgan Harn and Hester Hattie Porter. Sarah Blanche Harn married Ewing Porter on 20 October 1904 at Fayette Co., Pennsylvania. Sarah Blanche Harn died on 28 July 1941 at Brownsville General Hospital, Brownsville, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania, at age 54.^3,4 She was buried on 30 July 1941 at Acklin Cemetery, Brownsville, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.⁴

     Sarah E. Harn was born on 14 September 1867.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abner Harn and Sarah Margaret Eury. Sarah E. Harn died on 16 October 1867.^1,2 She was buried at Unionville, Frederick Co., Maryland.^3,2

     Sarah Elizabeth Harn was born on 15 September 1901 at Standardsville, Greene Co., Virginia.^1,2 She was the daughter of Carroll Duval Harn and Mary Whorton Cole. Sarah Elizabeth Harn married Virgil Beauregard Fowler on 1 November 1927 at Birmingham, Jefferson Co., Alabama.² Sarah Elizabeth Harn died on 29 October 1950 at Birmingham, Jefferson Co., Alabama, at age 49. She died on 29 October 1950 at Cullman, Cullman Co., Alabama, at age 49.²


Mrs. Fowler Dies Sunday
Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Harn Fowler died at South Highland Hospital in Birmingham early Sunday morning. Although Mrs. Fowler had undergone three operations during the last year her friends had no idea that she was so critically ill.
She had remained active until the very last.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil B. Fowler; one son Virgil, Jr; three daughters Carole Elizabeth, Nancy Joyce and Gayla Lee Fowler; two brothers, Wm. T. Ham of Memphis, Tenn., and Carroll D. Harn of Veterans Hospital in Tuscaloosa and one sister, Miss Mary W. Harn of Birmingham. Mrs. Fowler was president of the Post 4 American Legion Auxiliary, secretary of the Cullman Eastern Star Chapter and was a delegate to the grand chapter convention in Montgomery two weeks ago. She was active in the First Methodist Church and the P.T.A.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, October 30 at 2 o'clock at the First Methodist Church with Dr. Fagan Thompson and Dr. Wm. M. Harris of Birmingham conducting the rites.
Moss-Service directed interment in the City cemetery and members of the Eastern Star conducted grave side services. Pall-bearers were Roy Jordan, Russell Smith, W. O. Buettner, Conrad Howard, Herbert Jordan and Carl Stiefelmeyer..³ She was buried at Cullman City Cemetery, Cullman, Cullman Co., Alabama.⁴

     Sarah Elizabeth Harn was born on 14 May 1828.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Sillingsby Harn and Priscilla Fleming. Sarah Elizabeth Harn died on 22 May 1851 at age 23.^1,2

     Sharon Gail Harn is the daughter of Rulon Fayne Harn and Maxine E. Meyers. Sharon Gail Harn married William Ray Burk on 29 August 1959 at Clark Co., Nevada.

     Shelley Ann Leighton Harn is the daughter of Leighton Robert Harn and Harriet Grizzell.¹ Shelley Ann Leighton Harn married Bruce Allan Martin.¹

     Silvia Harn was the daughter of Lewis Harn and Tena Livingston.

     Singleton Joshua Harn was born on 2 September 1843 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of William Allen Harn and Ruth Spurrier. Singleton Joshua Harn died on 16 March 1904 at Ohio at age 60.^3,4 He was buried on 18 March 1904 at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.^5,4

     Singleton Wesley Harn was born on 1 June 1802 at Carroll Co., Maryland.^1,2,3 Singleton Wesley Harn was a Owner of a Woolen Factory. He was the son of Denton Harn and Rachel Ruth Pickett. Marriage License dated Sept 12, 1825. Singleton Wesley Harn married Maria Cordelia Harn, daughter of Caleb Harn and Charity Duval, circa September 1825 at Frederick Co., Maryland.⁴ Singleton married his first-cousin, Maria C. Harn. Politics: Whig.

Singleton Harn was born in 1790, in Carroll County, Md. He was a small boy when his parents removed to the old Friendship Woolen Mill in Linganore District. His educational advantages were limited, but he was a studious youth and managed to acquire a thorough education through careful reading and study. He learned the trade of making woolens from the wool in the rough, to the finished cloth, lindsey, and blankets. His preceptors in the business were Messrs. Marsh and O'Neil. In 1857, Mr. Harn purchased the factory and the farm of 230 acres which surrounded it, where he continued to manufacture high grade woolens until the infirmities of age became a burden, when is son, William, assumed the management. They had a deservedly large trade, and their reputation spread through several states. Their blankets were especially celebrated, selling as high as thirty dollars per pair. Mr. Harn was not only master of the art of making fine woolens, but was a thorough business man and knew well how to buy the rough and sell the finished product to the best advantage. He was a Whig, interested in political affairs, and was well-known and highly esteemed in the community. Singleton Harn was married, in early manhood, to Maria Cordelia Harn, of Carroll County, who was born in 1797. Their children are:

Stephen Adrian Harn married Mary Etta Blodgett, daughter of Ezra Blodgett and Margaret Frances Ware, in 1887. Stephen Adrian Harn died on 4 July 1947 at Frederick Twsp., Schuyler Co., Illinois, at age 83.^3,4 He was buried on 6 July 1947 at Messerer Cemetery, Frederick Twsp., Schuyler Co., Illinois.^2,4

     Stephen Peter Harn was born in December 1880 at Nebraska.² He was the son of Winfield Scott Harn and Fannie Louisia Stein.¹ Stephen Peter Harn married Ruby Louise Lamb in 1906. Stephen Peter Harn lived in March 1922 at Union, Mason Co., Washington. He died on 2 February 1946 at Indio, Riverside Co., California, at age 65.² He was buried at Union Cemetery, Union, Union Co., Oregon.²

     Steve Harn is the son of Donald William Harn and Charlotte Schumacher. Steve Harn married Theresa Elliott.

     Steven Michael Harn is the son of Paul Henry Harn Jr. and Dorothy Jean Fusaro.¹ Steven Michael Harn married Barbara Welling.¹

     Sylvester Harn was born on 1 January 1855 at Fulton Co., Illinois.^2,3 He was the son of Levi Harn and Emily Burgess. Sylvester Harn married Florence L. McCumber, daughter of Charles McCumber and Mary E. Weaver, on 6 December 1888 at Fulton Co., Illinois.⁴ Sylvester Harn died on 5 February 1899 at age 44.^3,5 He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.^5,2 His Ancestral File Number is 3Q6B-ZL, submitted by Michael Errin McGuire.

She was born on 18 November 1887 at Fulton Co., Illinois.^2,3 She was the daughter of Reason Elmer Harn and Martha Jane McNeil.¹ Tena Harn was also known as Anna. She married John Sherman Leonard on 21 April 1906 at Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.^3,1 Tena Harn lived in 1990 at Astoria, Fulton Co., Illinois.^1,4 Her Social Security Number was 345242888. She died on 8 October 1992 at Astoria Health Care Center, Astoria, Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 104.^2,3

Tena Leonard
Cuba, IL - Tena Leonard, 104, of the Astoria Health Care Center for the past two years, died at 7:46 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 1992, at the center.

Born Nov. 18, 1887, in Fulton County to Reason and Martha McNeil Harn, she married John Sherman Leonard on April 21, 1906, in Lewistown. He died March 10, 1939.

Surviving are one daughter, Elsie Beaird of Smithfield, with whom she made her home for 18 years; one stepdaughter, Bertha Conyers of Pekin; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; a great-great grandson; a great-great granddaughter; and several step-grand and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, two stepsons, two step-grandsons, eight brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the Smithfield Nazarene Church.

Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery in rural Summum.
