     Tilghman H. Rupel was also known as Tilman H. Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 144,148. Tyra and Tilman were twins. He was born on 24 October 1842.^1,2 He was the son of John Rupel and Susannah Bowman. Tilghman H. Rupel married Rebecca A. Heaton on 21 December 1865.² Tilghman H. Rupel lived at 753 South Michigan St., South Bend, St. Joseph Co, Indiana. He died on 31 May 1898 at age 55.¹ He was buried at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend, St. Joseph Co, Indiana.¹

     Tyra B. Rupel was born circa 1842 at Indiana.¹ He was born on 21 August 1842 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^2,3 He was the son of John Rupel and Susannah Bowman. Tyra B. Rupel died circa 1861.¹ He died on 8 September 1861 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 19.^2,3 He was buried at Grave 3., Sumption Prairie Cemetery, Greene Twsp., St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^2,1 Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D.      Unknown Rupel was the child of Jacob Ruple and Leah Miller. Unknown Rupel died before 1880.¹

     Ward Rupel was born on 12 November 1888 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of Isaac Rupel and Susan Fisher. Ward Rupel died on 8 December 1914 at Epworth Hospital, Centre Twsp., St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 26.¹

     William Rupel was born circa 1836 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of Samuel Rupel and Elinor Chord. William Rupel married Clotilda Meyer. Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 146,150.

     Justin Rupert married Benjamin J. Hendricks, son of Keith Alan Hendricks and Namsun (?), on 31 October 2021.

     Jacob Ruple (Rupel) was born circa 1735 at Germany/Switzerland.^1,2 He married Margaret (?) Jacob Ruple (Rupel) died circa June 1797 at Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.^1,2 John Coleman records FHL film 1673524 item 14.

In the book, THE RUPLE FAMILY IN AMERICA AND ITS GERMANIC HERITAGE, by Jack Damon Ruple, Sr., page 133-134. Jack D. Ruple Sr. states that "The records of the Historical and Genealogical Society of Somerset County contain a signed copy of a Jacob Ruple's will..."
Following is the complete text of that will:
"In the Name of God Amen. I Jacob Ruple of Turkeyfoot Township in the state of Pennsylvania farmer being in perfect state of health of body, and of perfect mind and memory thanks to be given to God calling into Mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all, I give and recommend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent christian manner, at the discretion of my Exeutrix, Margaret Ruple, nothing doubting but in the general Resurrection I shal receive the same again by the Almighty power of God - and as Touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the manner and form following - First I give and bequeath to Margaret Ruple, My Dearly Beloved Wife all My Landed property that I am at this time possessed of - with all stock and movable affects During the Term of her Natural Life, and as I considered my son Jacob to have had a sufficiency by the Land I gave him on the Negro Mountain for his share, I therefore give and Bequeath My afforesaid Tract of Land I now live on after the decease of his mother Margaret Ruple to my son John Ruple and his heirs, and should the said John die without Heirs, and should the said Estate shall be divided among my five children, Martin, Peggy, Nancy, Betsy, and Barbary, and the said Heir is to pay my daughter Barbary the sum of Fifty pounds in Spanish Milled Dollars at seven shillings and six pen each, in 12 months after the decease of her mother Margaret Ruple. I also give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy the remaining half tract of land that I sold to George Barnet, I also give and Bequeath to my son, John, the Horse I got of Mr. Ellis immedialy after my decrease, and I also give and bequeath to my son Martin the yearling Mare - I also give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy and Barbary each of them a horse, cow, and sheep. Exclusive of an equal divison of the remaining movables, I give and bequeath my sugar camp place for the life of the heirs of my Landed property I now live on, I also give and bequeath to the Heirs of my landed estate the wagon and wind Mill. And do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanul all and every other testaments Wills, Legacies and Bequeaths in any ways made by me Excepting what I gave to my son Jacob Ruple, and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament, In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Sixteenth Day of July, 1795. /s/ "

Jack Damon Ruple Sr. continues on page 134 of his book, that "The August, 1974, issue of the "Laurel Messenger" of Somerset County reported the following:
Estate No. 3 of 1797 - Jacob Ruple - Turkeyfoot Twp. -
Will dated July 3, 1795. Probated June 19, 1797. Wife - Margaret. Children: Jacob, John, Martin, Peggy, Nancy, Betsy, Barbara.

     Aaron Adson Ruple was born on 17 December 1825 at Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.^1,2 He was the son of John Rupel and Elizabeth Bird (Byrd). Aaron Adson Ruple married Amanda Eugenia Hart, daughter of Joshua W. Hart, in 1853. Aaron Adson Ruple died on 9 December 1901 at Ligonier, Noble Co., Indiana, at age 75.^1,2 He was buried at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier, Noble Co., Indiana.^1,2 Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D.      Abigal Ruple was born circa 1842 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Jacob Ruple and Abigail McLintick(). Abigal Ruple married Perry Sulsar on 6 October 1859.¹

     Ada Ruple was born circa January 1879 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Allen Ruple and Orline Starner. Ada Ruple married William Mallon.

     Ada M. Ruple was born circa 1877 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of William Ruple and Matilda Angle.

     Alfred Ruple was born on 16 December 1839 at Indiana.² He was the son of James Ruple and Sarah Wagner Wood. Alfred Ruple married Mary Ellen Dils on 29 June 1862 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana; In 1900, resided in St. Joseph Co., Michigan. Jim Coleman lists name as Alford, married to Mary E. DITTS. J-Coleman lists Alford's kids as Elmar,Melvin,Arthur,Ludely,Edney.

     Alice Ruple was born circa 1843 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of James Ruple and Sarah Wagner Wood. Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 147, 150.

     Alice Ruple was born circa 1877 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Allen Ruple and Orline Starner. Alice Ruple married Jesse Shock.

     Allen Ruple was born on 16 October 1844 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of Jacob Ruple and Abigail McLintick(). Allen Ruple married Orline Starner on 10 March 1870.¹ In Civil War, Co. B, Indiana Infantry. Allen Ruple died in 1926.

     Allen Ruple was born circa 1867 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of William Ruple and Matilda Angle. Allen Ruple died in 1950 at Indiana.

     Almira Ruple was born circa 1843 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Ruple and Sarah Jane Wilkins. Almira Ruple died on 23 February 1856.¹

     Almira Ruple was born circa 1865 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Ruple and Minerva Ashton. Almira Ruple married John N. Filar Jr. on 21 June 1887.¹

     Ammi Ruple was born on 16 April 1831 at Pennsylvania.^1,2 He was the son of Andrew Ruple and Sarah Jane Wilkins. Ammi Ruple married Margaret Slabaugh on 2 August 1855 at Elkhart Co., Indiana. Ammi Ruple died circa March 1905 at Indiana.¹ He was buried at Union Cemetery, Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana.^1,2

     Andrew Ruple was born circa 1804 at Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of John Rupel and Elizabeth Bird (Byrd). Andrew Ruple married Sarah Jane Wilkins. Andrew Ruple died on 23 December 1889.¹ He was buried at Osceola Cemetery, Elkhart, Elkhart Co., Indiana.^1,2 Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 140. In 1870 Census, Andrew has real estate worth $10,200.

     Andrew H. Ruple was born circa 1869 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of Andrew Jackson Ruple and Minerva Ashton. Andrew H. Ruple married Ada M. Strole on 28 February 1892.¹

     Andrew Jackson Ruple was born on 18 March 1838 at Indiana.¹ He was the son of Andrew Ruple and Sarah Jane Wilkins. Andrew Jackson Ruple married Minerva Ashton on 10 January 1861 at Elkhart Co., Indiana.¹ Andrew Jackson Ruple died on 21 June 1905 at Indiana at age 67.¹ He was buried at Union Cemetery, Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana.^1,2

     Arthur Ruple was born circa 1873 at Michigan.¹ He was the son of Alfred Ruple and Mary Ellen Dils. Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 150,153.

     Avillon Ruple was also known as Aurilla. She was born on 9 December 1860 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of William Ruple and Matilda Angle. Avillon Ruple died on 6 March 1946 at Indiana at age 85. She was buried at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart, Elkhart Co, Indiana.²

     Barbara Ruple was the daughter of Jacob Ruple (Rupel) and Margaret (?) Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 138, 143.

     Benjamin Ruple was born circa 1822.¹ He was the son of John Rupel and Elizabeth Bird (Byrd). Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 140.

Following in a microfilmed typescript submitted by Jim Coleman, to the Family History Library, FHL film 1673524, item 14:
Benjamin Ruple left a will in Noble Co., Indiana, filed Oct. 22, 1866, listing wife, Eliza, daughter Angeline. Benjamin Ruple of Noble Co. had minor daughter, Samantha, Elkhart Co.
A Samantha Ruple married Dec. 31, 1867 in Kosciusko Co., Indiana.

     Benjamin Ruple was the son of Martin Ruple and Nancy Miller. Benjamin Ruple married Ann Loring. Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 143,148.

     Bernice Ruple was born on 7 January 1916 at Elkhart Co., Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of John E. Ruple and Mabel Christman. Bernice Ruple died in November 1980 at Elkhart Co., Indiana, at age 64.

     Bertha Annette Ruple was the daughter of Jonas Ruple and Lydia (?)¹ Bertha Annette Ruple married male Elliget.¹

     Betsy Ruple was the daughter of Jacob Ruple (Rupel) and Margaret (?) Ruple Family in America, 1988, by Jack D. Ruple Sr., pg 138, 143.
