OAKLAND - Mrs. Georgia (Grove) Clayton, 80. widow of M. C. Clayton, died yesterday morning in Garrett County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for seven weeks.
A native of Mt. Airy, she was born February 28, 1865, and was daughter of the late Martin Luther and Mary (Harn) Grove.
Mrs. Clayton had resided in Mt. Lake Park for the past 40 years. Her husband died in 1945. An only survivor is a cousin, Harry Grove, Washington, D. C.
She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Clarksburg, W. Va. The body is at the Leighton Funeral Home where a service will be conducted tomorrow afternoon with Rev. Anna Potter and Rev. W. S. Patterson, officiating.
The body will then be taken to Mannington, W. Va. for a service Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Mannington.⁴

     Martha Grove was born at St. Thomas, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania.¹ She was born on 11 August 1816.² She married William Hillery Harn, son of Denton Harn and Rachel Ruth Pickett, on 12 June 1834 at Chambersburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania; Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. Martha Grove died on 29 June 1878 at Carlisle, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania.^3,1,2 She was buried at Old Graveyard, Carlisle, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania.²

     Martin Luther Grove was born on 20 January 1830.^1,2,3 He married Margaritte Jane Harn, daughter of John (II) Harn and Charlotte Hay, on 8 December 1856 at Libertytown, Frederick Co., Maryland.² Martin Luther Grove died on 20 October 1867 at age 37.^1,2,3 He was buried at Prospect Cemetery, Mount Airy, Frederick Co., Maryland.³ Martin Luther Grove was a Tobacco Farmer. Nancy Grove died on 30 December 1898 at Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, at age 54.¹ She was buried at Clark Park Cemetery, Beaver, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹

     Sarah Jane Grove was born on 16 June 1832.¹ She married Andrew Jackson White, son of Robert White and Elizabeth Jarrett, on 7 February 1850.¹ Sarah Jane Grove died on 20 June 1885 at age 53.¹ She was buried at The Oval B247, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chambersburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania.¹

     Williamina Grove was born on 8 November 1859 at Carroll Co., Maryland.^1,2 She was the daughter of Martin Luther Grove and Margaritte Jane Harn. Williamina Grove married David Tobin in 1880.² Williamina Grove married John Caldwell circa 1900 at Nome, Alaska.^2,3 Williamina Grove died in 1936 at Alameda Co., California. Williamina Grove was a Teacher. After marriage to David Tobin, went to New York to live. Journey to Nome, Alaska in 1900, engaging in gold mining.
