He married Margaret Cecilla Rupel, daughter of Alexis Coquillard Rupel and Mary Elizabeth Drollinger, on 16 June 1926 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Thomas Everett Stumm died on 15 September 1965 at Kane Co., Illinois, at age 63.

     Fred R. Stump was born on 1 February 1954 at Indiana.² He married Linda Mae Rissler, daughter of Wesley Homer Rissler and Helen Dorothy Weidman, on 26 December 1982 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.^2,1 Fred R. Stump died on 25 April 1998 at Wyoming at age 44. He was cremated.²

CASPER - Memorial services for Fred R. Stump, 44, will be conducted today at 1 p.m. at the home of Jim Saranton, 243 N. Lowell in Casper.
He died April 25, 1998, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on Feb. 1, 1954, in Indiana, to William and Evelyn (Zelmer) Stump, At the age of 1, he and his family moved to Tucson, Ariz., and to Casper in 1979.
He married Linda Rissler in Casper on Dec. 26, 1982, and they moved back to Tucson, where he worked as a landscaper. They lived in Tucson for 15 years and then moved back to Casper in 1994.
He continued landscaping until he decided to work on a small farm, raising cattle and chickens.
He was an avid fisherman and loved hunting and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Freddie Stump of Douglas; a stepson, Mike Caraveau of Casper, a brother, John Stump of Tucson, a sister, Rosie Naas of Benson, Ariz; his father. Bill Stump of Tucson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two uncles.
A memorial fund has been set up for the Stump family, in car of Bustard's Funeral Home.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bustard's.

Jerome J. Stumpf, 85-year-old resident of Pierz, MN passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Pierz Villa. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery in Pierz. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday all at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. Parish Prayers at 7 P.M. Followed by Knights of Columbus office of the dead at 7:30 PM on Sunday at the church. Military Honors will be conducted by the Pierz American Legion Post #341 and the Little Falls VFW Post #1112.

Jerome J. Stumpf was born on November 26, 1927 in Agram Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Fred and Alma (Dehler) Stumpf. He joined the US Army in 1946 during the end of World War II and served as an Army Medical Technician stationed in Korea. He married Beverly Squires on June 21, 1950 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN where they lived and raised their eleven children. He owned and operated Jerry's Service in Genola, MN for 25 years until he retired.

Jerome was very active in his community. He served on the Genola City Council for a number of years, and he was a member of the Pierz Lions Club, Little Falls VFW, Pierz American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and Catholic Aid Society. Jerome received the Helen Keller Award for outstanding community service from The Pierz Lions Club in 2012.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping and playing cards with friends. In his later years, he enjoyed attending auctions where he purchased antique engines to restore and display. Jerome loved spending time with his 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; they will have fond memories of his teasing.

Jerome will be dearly missed by his children: Kathy Prescott of Woodbridge, VA; Barb (Ronald) Watercott of Pierz, MN; Carol (Steve) Archer of Little Falls MN; Robert (Virginia) Stumpf of Little Falls, MN; Marilyn (Tim) Bayerl of Alexandria, MN; Richard (Patricia) Stumpf of Custer, SD; Julie Kalahar of St. Cloud, MN; Jean Stumpf of Golden Valley, MN; Patricia (Paul) Schlauderaff of St. Joseph, MN; Thomas (Dawn) Stumpf of Pierz, MN; and Teri (Dave) Ahlm of Golden Valley, MN; his sister Olivia Maciej and brothers Leo (Phyllis), Wilbert (Mary), and Melvin (MaryAnn); brother-in-law Richard Long; and dear friend and brother-in-law Sam (JoAnn) Stocco.

Jerome was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Beverly, on November 26, 2010. Also preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Alma; his sisters Mildred Bieniek and MaryAnn Long; and his infant grandson, Jason Stumpf.

     Kathyrn Thersa Stumpf was born on 1 July 1951 at Little Falls, Morrison Co., Minnesota.^2,1,3 She was the daughter of Jerome John Stumpf and Beverly Elaine Squires. Kathyrn Thersa Stumpf graduated circa 1969 at Healy High School, Pierz, Morrison Co., Minnesota.⁴ She married David Prescott on 3 July 1979 at Hennepin Co., Minnesota.^2,5 Kathyrn Thersa Stumpf lived in 1981 at Brevard, Transylvania Co., North Carolina.⁴ She lived in 1986 at Woodbridge, Prince William Co., Virginia.⁴ She lived in November 2010 at Woodbridge, Prince William Co., Virginia.^6,7 She died on 31 August 2018 at Woodbridge, Prince William Co., Virginia, at age 67.³ She was buried on 7 September 2018 at Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, Prince William Co., Virginia.³

Kathryn “Kathy” Prescott (Stumpf), 67, of Woodbridge Virginia, died August 31, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Kathy was born on July 1, 1951 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Jerome and Beverly (Squires) Stumpf. She graduated from Healy High School in Pierz Minnesota, worked for a number of years in Minneapolis as an abstractor for Minnesota Title Insurance, and then enlisted in the United States Army where she served as a Russian Linguist for several years. She moved to Brevard North Carolina in 1981 where she worked as the county mapper. She began her most cherished job the following year as a loving mother to her daughter Becky. Kathy moved to Woodbridge Virginia in 1986 where she became the GIS Division Chief and acting CIO for Prince William County until she retired in 2013.

Kathy enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends, and could frequently be found at local wineries sipping a fine Cabernet, or laughing over a good martini with friends. She loved the arts and took advantage of her close proximity to Washington DC, regularly attending theater productions and exploring museums. She was a proud supporter of the military, and would often volunteer her time to the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, along with numerous local charities. She visited family in Minnesota frequently, and was especially proud of her role as “The Queen Mother” for the Stumpf Sisters Chapter of The Red Hat Society. She loved to travel the world, though her special place was Sanibel Island in Florida where she spent time annually for many years.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Rebecca Edwards, son-in-law Brian Edwards, treasured grandson Brady, and beloved poodle Isabella of Woodbridge, Virginia; siblings Barb Watercott and husband Ron of Pierz, Minnesota, Carol Archer and husband Steve of Little Falls, Minnesota, Bob Stumpf and wife Ginny of Pierz, Minnesota, Marilyn Bayerl and husband Tim of Alexandria, Minnesota, Richard Stumpf and wife Pat of Custer, South Dakota, Julie Kalahar of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Jean Stumpf of Abiquiu, New Mexico, Pat Flicker of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Tom Stumpf and wife Dawn of Pierz, Minnesota, Teri Ahlm and husband Dave of Golden Valley, Minnesota, along with many adored nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Beverly Stumpf, and faithful poodle companion of 17 years Beauregard.

Interment with military honors at Quantico National Cemetery will be held on Friday September 7th at 2:00pm. A celebration of life will be held the following day Saturday September 8th at 3:00pm at Mountcastle Turch funeral home at 4143 Dale Boulevard in Dale City Virginia.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.⁸
