Michelle Lynn Weaver died on 8 July 2022 at Reseda, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 54.^1,2 She was buried on 1 August 2022 at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^1,2 She lived in January 2013 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.³

Michelle Lynn Somerset, 54, of Reseda, California, died Friday, July 8, 2022, at her residence.

She was born February 27, 1968, in Goshen, Indiana, to Wilbur D. and Sandra L. (Clason) Weaver.

She worked as a home healthcare nurse.

Shelly enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. Her cats were her children, and she loved them immensely.

Surviving are three sisters, Beth Beaty of Cape Coral, Florida, Dawn Sanderson of LaGrange, and Melissa (Willie) Riehl of LaGrange; nine nieces and nephews, Seth Riehl, Cody Riehl, Dustin Riehl, Faith Riehl, Emilie Riehl, Brooke Beaty, Anthony Beaty, Ryan Sanderson, and Chad Sanderson; maternal grandmother, Margaret Clason of Warsaw; ten aunts and uncles, Sam (Pat) Rink of Elkhart, Ruth (John) Schlabach of Lyndhurst, Virginia, Leann (Phil) Perry of Saltville, Virginia, Henry Rink of Florida, Steve (Rose) Clason, LeRoy (Ida) Weaver of Shipshewana, Mervin (Joan) Weaver of Nappanee, Mary Jane Bontrager of Shipshewana, Freeman “Fritz” (Norma) Weaver of Mesa, Arizona and Martha Weaver of Shipshewana; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur D. Weaver; her mother, Sandra L. Price; her stepfather, Kent Price; paternal grandparents, David and Alice Weaver; maternal grandparents, Christ and Betty Rink and Sam Clason; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Maple Grove Church, 806 South Main Street, Topeka, Indiana, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Michelle’s funeral service will be Monday, August 1, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the church with Pastor Jason Gingerich officiating.

Casketbearers are Willie Riehl, Seth Riehl, Ryan Sanderson, and Chad Sanderson.

Burial will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery, 2300 Portage Avenue, South Bend.

He was born on 27 April 1930 at LaGrange, LaGrange Co., Indiana.¹ He married Sandra Lee Rink, daughter of Christ Jess Rink and Betty Lou Clason, on 12 November 1964 at Hope, Elkhart Co., Indiana. Wilbur D. Weaver and Sandra Lee Rink were divorced in 1972. Wilbur D. Weaver died on 25 October 2009 at LaGrange, LaGrange Co., Indiana, at age 79.¹ He was buried at Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana, LaGrange Co., Indiana.¹

     William Howard Weaver is the son of Fred Weaver and Barbara Jean Detwiler. William Howard Weaver married Jackie Hoppes.

     Frances Jane Webb was born on 26 August 1909 at Pennsylvania. She married Otto Dale Gray on 4 May 1926 at Los Angeles Co., California. Frances Jane Webb died on 1 July 1997 at Oregon at age 87.

     Elizabeth Theresa Weber married Scot Anthony Stocco, son of Samuel Armondo Stocco Jr. and Jeanne Marie Squires, on 6 March 1982 at Hennepin Co., Minnesota.¹

     Katherine Weber married John V. Sherman.

     Luella Thankful Webley was born on 9 April 1880. She married Uriah Hamilton Myers. Luella Thankful Webley died on 14 January 1973 at Washington at age 92. Ancestral File Number submitted by Jeanne Fox Wilson.

     Chuncey Webster married Jennifer Sponseller, daughter of Michael Sponseller and Elizabeth Allman Brinkley.¹

     Franklin G. Webster was born on 17 June 1917 at Cloquet, Carlton Co., Minnesota.¹ He married Mary Elaine Schaller, daughter of Carl Arthur Schaller and Laura E. Perkins, on 28 May 1938 at Omak, Okanogan Co., Washington. Franklin G. Webster died on 6 February 1989 at Brewster, Okanogan Co., Washington, at age 71.¹ He was buried at Locust Grove Cemetery, Brewster, Okanogan Co., Washington.¹

     Ronald Franklin Webster was born on 1 November 1939 at Okanogan, Okanogan Co., Washington. He was the son of Franklin G. Webster and Mary Elaine Schaller. Ronald Franklin Webster died on 12 July 2015 at University Medical Center Hospital, El Paso, El Paso Co., Texas, at age 75. He graduated in 1964 at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington, BA (English) and earned his teaching certificate.

She married Paul Mortimore Harn, son of Theodore Columbus Harn and Cora Ellen Rust, on 30 September 1903 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio. Ella Katherine Weghorst died on 22 November 1951 at Macomb Co., Michigan, at age 65.

     Mary Marie Weibert was born on 5 December 1907 at Colorado.² She was born in 1907 at Colorado.³ She married Walter Fellows, son of George Elbert Fellows and Minnie Inez Lilly, on 6 November 1924 at Big Horn Co., Montana.^1,4 Mary Marie Weibert died on 11 November 1986 at Billings, Yellowstone Co., Montana, at age 78.² She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Hardin, Big Horn Co., Montana.²

     James David Weible was born on 14 May 1875 at Ellington, Reynolds Co., Missouri. He married Theodosia G. Bowles, daughter of James Nashville Bowles and Elizabeth Jane Parks, in 1896. James David Weible died on 12 August 1974 at Poplar Bluff, Butler Co., Missouri, at age 99.

     Adele Dora Weidman was born in May 1877 at Missouri. She was the daughter of Henry Weidman and Mary Benyas. Adele Dora Weidman married Herman Schroeder on 24 February 1904 at Manchester, St. Louis, Missouri. Adele Dora Weidman died on 9 October 1951 at Manchester, St. Louis Co., Missouri, at age 74.¹ She died on 26 May 1883 at St. Louis Co., Missouri. She was buried on 12 October 1951 at Manchester Methodist Cemetery, Manchester, St. Louis Co., Missouri.¹ In April 1910 Adele Dora Weidman was a Servant for a private family.

     Alfred Weidman was born on 30 September 1876 at St. Louis Co., Missouri.¹ He was the son of Michael Weidman and Sophia Tiefenbrun. Alfred Weidman was born in September 1878 at St. Louis Co., Missouri. He died on 10 July 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri, at age 69.¹ He was buried on 13 July 1946 at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Affton, St. Louis Co., Missouri.¹

     Caroline Weidman was the daughter of Frederick Weidman and Dora Bernges.

     Elizabeth Weidman was born in August 1873 at Missouri. She was the daughter of Henry Weidman and Mary Benyas. Elizabeth Weidman married Otto L. Poelke on 8 August 1893 at Missouri. Elizabeth Weidman died on 21 October 1915 at Chicago, Illinois, at age 42.

     Frederick Weidman was born circa 1826 at France. He was the son of Michael Weidman and Salomea Lentz. Frederick Weidman married Dora Bernges. Frederick Weidman died after 1872.

     Fritz Weidman was born circa 1877 at Missouri. He was the son of Michael Weidman and Sophia Tiefenbrun.

     George Weidman was born on 20 November 1864 at Missouri.¹ He was the son of Henry Weidman and Mary Benyas. George Weidman married Anna A. Ziegenhein circa 1903. George Weidman died on 25 July 1954 at Manchester, St. Louis Co., Missouri, at age 89.¹ He was buried at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Town and Country, St. Louis Co., Missouri.¹

     Helen Dorothy Weidman was born on 9 November 1909 at Roberts, Carbon Co., Montana. She was the daughter of William Frederick Weidman and Jane Walker. Helen Dorothy Weidman married Wesley Homer Rissler on 8 June 1929 at Stroud Ranch, East of Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.¹ Helen Dorothy Weidman died on 15 February 1994 at Life Care Center, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming, at age 84.² She was buried on 18 February 1994 at Highland Cemetery, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.^1,2 She lived in August 1937 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.³

Services for Helen Dorothy Rissler, 83, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bustard Funeral Home of Sunlight Ministries Church, where she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Rissler died Feb. 15, 1994, at Life Care Center following a short illness. She was born Nov. 9, 1910, at Red Lodge, Mont., the daughter of William F. and Jane (Walker) Weidman. She grew up on the family ranch near Roberts, Mont., and graduated from high school at Red Lodge.

On June 8th, 1929, she married Wesley H. Rissler at the Stroud ranch east of Casper.
A devoted homemaker and mother, Mrs. Rissler enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, playing bingo and the outdoors. She was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary No. 9439.

Survivors include her children: George Rissler, Elko, Nev; William R. Rissler and Donna Tanner, Casper; Betty Diedrichsen, Norfolk, Neb; Sharon Tucker, Bryon, Linda Stump, Tucson, Ariz; and Judy Logue and Susan Richards, Casper.
Also surviving are her sisters, Violet Kitsmiler and Viola Masterson of Denver, Jane Mann of Helena, Mont; Mildred Warfel of Basin; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley who died in 1990, a daughter, Patsy Johnson; two brothers, William and Kenneth Weidman; and two sisters. Nellie Dodge and Jewell Chalfant.
Memorials to the Central Wyoming Cancer Treatment and Hospice Program would be appreciated and may be left at the Bustard Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.¹
