He married Mildred Elberta Melin on 3 November 1938 at Parker, Fremont Co., Idaho. William David Ball and Mildred Elberta Melin were divorced on 12 June 1978 at Montana.² William David Ball died on 31 October 1985 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana, at age 69.¹ He was buried at Forestvale Cemetery, Helena, Lewis and Clark Co., Montana.¹

     Lena Ballard was born on 23 July 1868 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania.¹ She married William E. Harn, son of Thornton Fleming Harn and Margaret Esther Molter, on 4 October 1892 at Beaver, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania. Lena Ballard died on 18 March 1925 at Bridgewater, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, at age 56.¹ She was buried at Beaver Cemetery & Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹

     Dana Olive Ballou was born on 26 June 1908 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. She was the daughter of Ralph Dana Ballou and Rebecca Jane Mustard.¹ Dana Olive Ballou was born on 28 June 1908 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington.^1,2 She married John Richard Newman on 10 August 1929 at Pierce Co., Washington. Ruth Katherine Bang, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, March 20, at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park on her 100th birthday.

She was born in 1912, in Featherstone Township, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Kolshorn) Bang. She attended rural school District #20 in Hay Creek and graduated from Red Wing Central High in 1929, and from the Junior College of Red Wing Seminary as well as St. Olaf College. She also attended one year of graduate school at the University of Iowa. She worked for 35 ½ years in the home office of Bankers Life Company, now Principal Financial Group, in Des Moines, Iowa.

After retirement, she returned to Red Wing in February of 1974. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Chapter P of PEO. She enjoyed traveling, picnics and nature-especially outings looking for wild flowers, eagles and migrating swans and geese.

She is survived by her nephew and nieces, Larry (Carol) Perkins of Red Wing, Rhoda (Marlyn) Rusch of Hollister, Mo., and Carol (Vern) Draheim of Bricelyn and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Bang and Vivian Perkins and two infant brothers.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the church.¹ She was buried on 24 March 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^1,2

Vivian D. Perkins -- Red Wing
RED WING -- A memorial service for Vivian D. Perkins will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Red Wing, with the Rev. Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Hope Cemetery in Featherstone Township, Goodhue County. Mrs. Perkins, 98, of Red Wing, died Monday (March 24, 2008) at the Fairview Seminary Home.

Vivian Dorothy Bang was born Nov. 2. 1909, in Featherstone Township. She attended school in Hay Creek and graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1927. She graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing in 1931, and worked at Charles Miller Hospital in St. Paul until 1935. On Aug. 8, 1935, she married Vernon L. Perkins, and they were the third generation to farm the Perkins farm and apple orchard. They moved to Red Wing in 1986. She was a 4-H adult leader, belonged to the Home Extension Group, and was a member of Chapter P of the PEO and St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Larry (Carol) of Red Wing; two daughters, Rhoda (Marlyn) Rusch of Hollister, Mo., and Carol (Vernell) Draheim of Bricelyn, Minn; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Bang of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 31, 1987, a sister, two infant brothers, and a great-grandson.

     June Jeanette Banick married Ronald George Nelson, son of George Alrich Nelson and Dorothy Jeanette Adler, on 30 April 1960 at Lake City, Wabasha Co., Minnesota.¹

     Richard Bannister married Sheryl Bowles, daughter of Brooks J. Bowles and Jo Ann Dauby.¹

     Joseph William Barclay was born circa 1917. He married Lucy Patricia Harding, daughter of Paul Orpheus Harding and Felicia Maria Perkins, on 6 February 1970 at Arizona. Joseph William Barclay died on 26 December 2005 at Arizona.

     Helen Barlang married Kenneth E. Jackson, son of Roscoe Lee Jackson and Frances Leota Harn, on 26 December 1970 at Rock Island Co., Illinois.

     Annie A. Barnes was born on 28 June 1883 at Maryland.¹ She married Burgess Condon in 1904 at Carroll Co., Maryland. Annie A. Barnes died on 20 May 1917 at age 33.¹ She was buried at Taylorsville United Methodist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, Carroll Co., Maryland.¹

Doris Faye Barnett died on 20 November 2021 at Texas at age 91.¹ She was buried at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Harris Co., Texas.¹

     Martha Ethel Barnhart was born on 14 June 1894 at Greene Co., Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of Walter E. Barnhart and Dora B. Rose. Martha Ethel Barnhart married Allen Teagarden before 1914. Martha Ethel Barnhart married William Henry Harn, son of Henry Alexander Harn and Elizabeth Porter, on 19 September 1923 at Washington Co., Pennsylvania. Martha Ethel Barnhart died on 3 April 1987 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 92.¹ She was buried on 6 April 1987 at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Oliver, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.^1,2

Martha E. Harn, age 92 years, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Friday, April 3, 1987 in Deacons Hospital, Cleveland. She was born June 14, 1894 in Greene County, Pa., daughter of the late Walter and Dora Rose Barnhart. She was predeceased by her husband, William, a son, Edward, two stepsisters, Bertha Cunningham and Jessie Baker, two brothers, James Barnhart and Milton Barnhart and a sister, Belle Mitchell. Surviving are two granddaughters, Linda Adams, Columbus, Ohio and Barbara Parker, Calif; five great grandchildren; a stepbrother, Ray Barnhart, Leckrone a stepsister, Helen Carrick, McClellandtown. Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, Monday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 1:30 p.m. the hour of service. Dr. Earl P. Confer will officiate. Interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
