Robert (Bob) Squires, born December 2, 1936, passed away April 13, 2018. An avid outdoorsman (hunter, trapper, etc.), after 51 years in Minnesota, he moved to Cortez in 1989 to follow his dreams (as described by Louis L'Amour). He loved life in Colorado and enjoyed 16 years as a deputy for the Montezuma County Sheriff's Department, retiring in 2007. He will be dearly missed by his family, pets and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by daughters Kristin Squires Conner and Amy Squires, sisters Beverly (Jerry) Stumpf and Jeanne (Sam) Stocco and by his parents, Gordon and Stella Squires. He is survived by his wife Anita, daughters Laurie Bovee, Rockford, MN and Jennifer Squires, Cortez, and grandchildren Jessica (Mike) Guzman, Paul and Nick (Angel) Squires, Angela, and Jordan Bovee, Samantha and Patrick Angell and brothers Howard (Suzanne) Squires of Orford, NH and Joe (Lynn) Squires, Clinton, MT.

Zilpha St. John married Elisha Lemuel Harn Jr., son of Elisha Lemuel Harn and Keziah Griswell, circa April 1865 at Cass Co., Michigan.³ Zilpha St. John died on 15 February 1927 at Elroy, Juneau Co., Wisconsin, at age 83.² She was buried on 17 February 1927 at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.⁴ Zilpha was the Executor in the Probate for Lottie T. Harn.

Mrs. Zelpha Harn, 84 years old, a resident of Red Wing, and who lived on Fifteenth street for many years until she took up her home with her daughter Mrs. M.T. Perkins, died early today at Elroy, Wis., where she had been visiting her sister since last fall. She was born in New York state October 16, 1843. The remains will be brought to Red Wing Wednesday evening for burial.

Funeral services for Mrs. Zelpha Harn, pioneer resident of Red Wing, who died at Elroy, Wis., early Tuesday morning at the age of 84 years, will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at A. Swanson's Sons' chapel, Dr. A.J. Northrup officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery.

     Donna Joan Stanley was born on 6 May 1938 at Washington Co., Iowa.¹ She married William George Luchau, son of Harvey Clinton Luchau and Helen Myrtle Evanson. Donna Joan Stanley lived between 1977 and 2020 at Torrance Co., New Mexico. She died on 3 February 2020 at age 81.¹ She was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Moriarity, Torrance Co., New Mexico.¹
