Surviving in addition to her husband are five sisters; Eloise Wooden of Mt. Airy, Arta Gartrell of Taylorsville, Dorothy Gosnell of Mt. Airy, Joan Smith of Sykesville and Vivian Hann of New Windsor. One brother Hershel Bud Frizzell of Wake, Va.
She was preceded in death by one sister Yvonne Ripley and four brothers Truman, Horace, Paul and Harry Newts Frizzell.
Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday November 5, 2009 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy.
Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday November 6, at 11:00am. The Reverend Wallace Lusk will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park , Sykesville.

He also rode in a truck with Harvey Myers for North and South Frozen Food Company. He enjoyed woodworking and restoring antiques. He belonged to the VFW in Oakland. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Terry and Kenneth Hamby, of Ellicott City, and Sherry and Albert Musgrove, of Mount Airy; brothers and sisters-in-law Kenneth and Rosalee Frizzell, of Westminster, and Robert Sr. and Sue Frizzell, of Mount Airy; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Walter and Gail Johnson, of Mesa, Ariz., and Gilbert Mayne Sr., of Mount Airy; a mother-in-law, Ruth Johnson, of Baltimore; grandchildren Edward Cason III and Melissa Caslow; and a great-grandson, Brian Hunter Blackburn. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Mayne; and a nephew, Gilbert Mayne Jr. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Mount Airy.
