Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, at Waco Memorial Park with the Minister Kennth Maddox officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Frances was born April 20, 1918, at 1118 Herring in Waco to Army Colonel Frank and Hattie Booher. She worked as a photographer and in the photography industry. Frances was a member of the Church of Christ. She lived most of her life in the Waco area, Irving, Euless, and Atlanta, Georgia, and for the last seven years in Aiken, South Carolina; then moved back to Waco in 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hattie Booher; and husband, Carl Bernice Boyd; and two sisters, Thelma Richmond and Estrella Ziegenbalg. She is survived by two sons, Stanley Christian Boyd and wife, Gayle, of Wills Point , TX, and Frank Elbert Boyd and wife, Maureen, of Flintstone, GA; two daughters, Suzette Donaldson and husband, Greer, of Lorena, TX, and Carolyn Bernice Presley and husband, William, of North Augusta, SC; a brother, Sylvester Booher of Riesel, TX; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Martha Booth Mitchell, 80, of Meadville, formerly of Rogersville and Houston, died at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in Hamot Medical Center, Erie, after being in failing health since August.
She was born August 2, 1928, in McMechen, W.Va., a daughter of Frederick Harold and Lydia Pearl Harn Booth.
Mrs. Mitchell had resided in Houston for 42 years prior to moving to Meadville in 2000.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Meadville and was a former member of Rogersville United Methodist Church and had attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Meadow Lands.
Mrs. Mitchell was a graduate and salutatorian of the Class of 1947 from the former Center Township High School in Rogersville.
Prior to her retirement in 1993, she was last employed as a seamstress with Ace Reconditioning in Washington.
Mrs. Mitchell enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, scenery painting and the time she was able to spend with her family.
On August 4, 1946, she married Fred Johnson Mitchell, who died December 9, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Bonna K. Goodnight of Petroleum, W.Va., Mary M. and husband William Sherrod of Meadville and Nancy E. and husband Mark Janosky of Perryburg, Ohio; a son, John W. and wife Donna Mitchell of Pittsburgh; a sister, Vileta and husband Arthur Fletcher of Inman, S.C; a brother, Willis H. and wife Lisa Booth of North East; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a great-grandson, Zachery Thomas William, who died at the age of 18 months; and two brothers, George Adin and Floyd Wayne Booth.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, with Dr. Terry Clark of First Christian Church of Meadville officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Center Township.      Willis Harold Booth was born on 16 October 1923 at Hundred, Wetzel Co., West Virginia. He was the son of Frederick Harold Booth and Pearl Lydia Harn. Willis Harold Booth married Katharin (?) on 2 July 1949.

On 18 Jan 1950, Willis H. Booth completed Application for World War II Compensation - to be used by honorable discharged veteran or person still in service. His address was listed as 3113 Buffalo Road, Wesleyville, Erie County, Pennsylvania. He was born 16 Oct 1923 in Hundred, Wetzel County, West Virginia. He entered active service on 02 Mar 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with service number of 33-437-905. He was separated from active service on 21 Jan 1946 in Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania.
