He died on 7 June 2003 at age 71.³ He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.³

     Marie Gail Davey was born in 1897 at Minnesota. She married Walter Scott Spilman before 1917. Marie Gail Davey died in 1942. She was buried at Kensal Cemetery, Kensal, Stutsman Co., North Dakota.¹

     Albert Bernard David was born on 23 July 1914 at Montgomery, Le Sueur Co., Minnesota.^1,2 He married Mary Philimena Vrzal, daughter of Albert John Vrzal and Theresa Elizabeth Chalupa.¹ Albert Bernard David died on 16 August 1989 at Hennepin Co., Minnesota, at age 75.^1,2 He was buried at Trebon Cemetery, Rice Co., Minnesota.²

     Dennis Lee Davidson married Jean Marie Allyn on 22 June 1974 at Goodhue Co., Minnesota.

     Abigail Davis is the daughter of Robert Tobias Davis and Janet Elizabeth Kranz.¹

     Ally Davis was born in 1861.² She was the daughter of John M. Davis and Elizabeth Adair.¹ Ally Davis died on 30 June 1863.² She was buried at Davis Cemetery, Morristown, Shelby Co., Indiana.²

     Arthur E. Davis was born on 11 February 1887 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio. He married Sarah Elizabeth Doughtery, daughter of James W. Doughtery and Elizabeth M. Harn. Arthur E. Davis died on 4 July 1961 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas, at age 74. He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, Travis Co., Texas.¹

     Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. Azoline Davis was born in 1835 at Indiana.² She was the daughter of Eden H. Davis and Eberilla Johnson. Azoline Davis married David Smithers on 15 April 1856 at Shelby Co., Indiana. Azoline Davis died in 1879 at Indiana.² She was buried at Sec 2-Row 8-South to North, City Cemetery, Shelbyville, Shelby Co., Indiana.²

     Benjamin Davis was born in May 1776 at Maryland.¹ He was the son of Garrard Davis Sr. and Nancy (?)¹ Benjamin Davis died in 1837 at Illinois.¹

     Caleb Tobias Davis is the son of Robert Tobias Davis and Janet Elizabeth Kranz.¹

     Curtis Davis is the son of Kevin Davis and Cynthia Mettler.

     Dorcas Davis was born abt 1740-1749 at Maryland.¹ She married John Hearn, son of male Hearn and female (?), abt 1760-1762. Dorcas Davis died abt 1811-1820 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^1,2 Dorcas’ actual given name could be Tabitha.³

     Dorcas Davis was born in 1801 at Kentucky.¹ She was born on 28 April 1809 at Maryland.² She was the daughter of John Davis and Hester Harn. Dorcas Davis married Samuel Foxworthy, son of William Foxworthy and Clarissa Calvert, on 28 October 1830 at Fleming Co., Kentucky.³ Dorcas Davis died on 7 January 1871 at Kentucky at age 61.⁴ Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. She was buried at Mount Gilead Cemetery, Mount Gilead, Mason Co., Kentucky.⁵

     Eden H. Davis was born on 19 June 1810 at Kentucky.^1,2,3 Eden H. Davis was a Cabinet-Maker. He was the son of John Davis and Hester Harn. Emigrated to Morristown, Indiana, about 1832 or 1833. Eden H. Davis married Eberilla Johnson on 26 March 1835 at Shelby Co., Indiana.^4,5

DEATH OF EDEN H. DAVIS

In the death of Eden H. Davis the people of the community sustain a great loss and the legal fraternity an eminent counselor. For years he was regarded as an able, careful and safe legal advisor. His varied and extensive knowledge of human nature, his indomitable will and excellent memory rendered him formidable in a legal contest. He was pre-eminently a self-made man, and by his own industry and perseverance attained his high position at the bar. A few years of his later life were rendered a blank by that dreaded disease of all great brain workers, "softening of the brain."

His death occurred May 31, at high meridian. His remains were followed to the tomb on the following Sabbath by a very large concourse of citizens, friends and relatives. The funeral services at the residence were conducted by Rev. B. F. Foster, of Indianapolis, after which the remains were taken in charge by the Masonic fraternity, numbering several hundred, conveyed to the tomb, and buried with their usual form and ceremony.
