     Cassandra Davis was born abt 1765-1770 at Maryland.³ She was the daughter of Garrard Davis Sr. and Nancy (?) Cassandra Davis married Elijah Harn, son of John Hearn and Dorcas Davis, on 6 September 1787 at Frederick Co., Maryland.⁴ Cassandra Davis died before 1812.³

     Charles Davis was born abt 1780-1783 at Maryland.¹ He was the son of Garrard Davis Sr. and Nancy (?)¹ Charles Davis married Clarissa Viers in 1808 at Kentucky.¹ Charles Davis died circa 1824 at Fayette Co., Indiana.¹

     Curtis Davis is the son of Kevin Davis and Cynthia Mettler.

     Dorcas Davis was born abt 1740-1749 at Maryland.¹ She married John Hearn, son of male Hearn and female (?), abt 1760-1762. Dorcas Davis died abt 1811-1820 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^1,2 Dorcas’ actual given name could be Tabitha.³

     Dorcas Davis was born in 1801 at Kentucky.¹ She was born on 28 April 1809 at Maryland.² She was the daughter of John Davis and Hester Harn. Dorcas Davis married Samuel Foxworthy, son of William Foxworthy and Clarissa Calvert, on 28 October 1830 at Fleming Co., Kentucky.³ Dorcas Davis died on 7 January 1871 at Kentucky at age 61.⁴ Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. She was buried at Mount Gilead Cemetery, Mount Gilead, Mason Co., Kentucky.⁵

     Eden H. Davis was born on 19 June 1810 at Kentucky.^1,2,3 Eden H. Davis was a Cabinet-Maker. He was the son of John Davis and Hester Harn. Emigrated to Morristown, Indiana, about 1832 or 1833. Eden H. Davis married Eberilla Johnson on 26 March 1835 at Shelby Co., Indiana.^4,5

DEATH OF EDEN H. DAVIS

In the death of Eden H. Davis the people of the community sustain a great loss and the legal fraternity an eminent counselor. For years he was regarded as an able, careful and safe legal advisor. His varied and extensive knowledge of human nature, his indomitable will and excellent memory rendered him formidable in a legal contest. He was pre-eminently a self-made man, and by his own industry and perseverance attained his high position at the bar. A few years of his later life were rendered a blank by that dreaded disease of all great brain workers, "softening of the brain."

His death occurred May 31, at high meridian. His remains were followed to the tomb on the following Sabbath by a very large concourse of citizens, friends and relatives. The funeral services at the residence were conducted by Rev. B. F. Foster, of Indianapolis, after which the remains were taken in charge by the Masonic fraternity, numbering several hundred, conveyed to the tomb, and buried with their usual form and ceremony.

     Elizabeth Davis was born in 1859.² She was the daughter of John M. Davis and Elizabeth Adair.¹ Elizabeth Davis died on 18 December 1862.² She was buried at Davis Cemetery, Morristown, Shelby Co., Indiana.²

     George Walker Davis was born on 7 April 1816 at Fayette Co., Indiana.¹ He was the son of Rezin Davis and Nancy Ann Clary.¹ George Walker Davis married Delila Snider.¹ George Walker Davis died on 10 June 1890 at Fountaintown, Shelby Co., Indiana, at age 74.¹

     Gerrard Davis Jr. was the son of Garrard Davis Sr. and Nancy (?)¹ Gerrard Davis Jr. married Elizabeth McDonald.¹

     Glenn John Davis was born in 1907 at Fayette Co., Pennsylvania. He married Mary Elizabeth McCormick, daughter of Samuel Osborne McCormick and Evelyn H. Harn, on 26 December 1939 at Virginia. Glenn John Davis died on 3 April 1966 at Latrobe, Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania.

     Hanna Elizabeth Davis is the daughter of Robert Tobias Davis and Janet Elizabeth Kranz.¹

     Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. Harriet O. Davis was born on 3 July 1807 at Kentucky.^2,3 She was the daughter of John Davis and Hester Harn. Harriet O. Davis married William R. Meredith in 1839.⁴ Harriet O. Davis died on 26 September 1854 at Indiana at age 47.^2,3 She was buried at Davis Cemetery, Morristown, Shelby Co., Indiana.³

She married John A. Young on 20 November 1860. Hester Anne Davis lived in 1902 at Shelbyville, Shelby Co., Indiana. She died on 20 January 1905 at age 66.² She was buried at Sec 1-Row 1-Group 2-Back Rows on Northeast Drive(Curved Part)South to North, Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, Shelby Co., Indiana.²

     John M. Davis was born on 6 April 1817 at Kentucky.^1,2 He was the son of John Davis and Hester Harn. John M. Davis married Lawra Francis in 1839 at Indiana.¹ John M. Leota Jean Davis died on 12 July 1993 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming, at age 64. She was buried at Natrona Memorial Gardens, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.¹

     Lewis Davis was the son of John M. Davis and Lawra Francis. Lewis Davis was a Silversmith.² Lewis lived in Indianapolis, Indiana.

     Lilly Davis was born in 1858.² She was the daughter of John M. Davis and Elizabeth Adair.¹ Lilly Davis died on 8 May 1859.² She was buried at Davis Cemetery, Morristown, Shelby Co., Indiana.²

     Loring Tonkin Davis was born on 10 February 1946 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.¹ She was born on 20 February 1946 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.² She was the daughter of Merrill Nathaniel Davis Jr. and Mary VanKirk Tonkin. Loring Tonkin Davis died on 3 February 1989 at Texas at age 42.¹

     Lucius Davis was the son of John M. Davis and Lawra Francis. Lucius Davis was a Carpenter.² Lucius lived in Indianapolis, Indiana.
