Conley Denton Nelson also went by the name of Buzz. 2Lt Conley "Buzz" Nelson went through Basic Training at Reese Air Base and continued on to Spence Air Base for primary training; member of 61-Delta USAF Pilot class.

Interment will be in the Geneva Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Ellendale, and one hour before the service at the church.
Etta died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the New Richland Care Center. She was 94 years old.
Etta was born July 8, 1913, in Freeborn County to Martin Carl and Anne Christine (Jensen) Nelson. She attend school in Geneva and the Farr Country School outside of Geneva. Etta spent the majority of her life in the Geneva area. Etta married George Stieglbauer on May 2, 1930. He died in March 1965. She later married Oscar Hjelmen on Oct. 11, 1980. He died April 9, 1996. Etta was a member of the United Methodist Church of Geneva and belonged to the UMW. She was a homemaker and had worked for Northern Valley and Land-O-Lakes. Etta belonged to the Tuesday Club and Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, baking, fishing at their cabin by Longville, dancing and traveling. Etta loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Etta is survived by seven children: Loretta Anderson of Albert Lea, Louis (Barbara) Stieglbauer of Woodbridge, Va., Shirley Diaz of Mankato, Jeanette (Terry) Ringeon of Albert Lea, Julia (Kenneth) Farr of Geneva, George (Susan) Stieglbauer of Geneva, and LaVerne (Linda) Stieglbauer of Geneva; 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; brother Olaf F. Nelson of Geneva; sister-in-law: Adeline Nelson of New Richland; son-in-law: Manuel Cortinas of Faribault; many nieces and nephews.
Etta is preceded in death by her parents Martin and Christine Nelson; husbands: George Stieglbauer and Oscar Hjelmen; daughters: Delores and Donna in infancy and daughter Margaret Cortinas; grandsons: George Stieglbauer III., Steven Stieglbauer, John Diaz; sons-in-law: Allan Anderson, Jesse Diaz; brothers: Magnus (Mary) Nelson, Nels C. Nelson, Einer (Bessie) Nelson, Ervin Nelson: sisters: Carrie in infancy, Clara (Ralph) Nutter and Emma (George) Snater and sister-in-law Myrtle Nelson.3 She was buried in June 2008 at Geneva Cemetery, Ellendale, Freeborn Co., Minnesota.2

He was united in marriage to Selena Frances Warfel Jan. 21, 1884, and to their union were born seven children, a son, Clifford, preceding his father in death on Oct. 1, 1936. Those surviving are: his wife; children—Mrs. Frank Garrett, of Wash Park, Ill., Ernest, of Belgrade; Roscoe of Jack; Rudolph, Mrs. Carl Norris and Walter, of Salem; 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters—Mrs. Geo. Welch, of Custer, and Mrs. Tom Warfel, of Salem; and other relatives and friends.
He spent most of his life in Dent County and was a good husband, father and neighbor. While he did not belong to any church, he led a Christian life, and told his children that he accepted Jesus as his Savior.
Funeral services were held Mon- day at 3 o’clock by the Rev. Mack Heavin at Dry Fork church, with burial under direction of C. K. Spencer.

Ronald G. Nelson, 61, of Red Wing, died Thursday, April 30, 1998 at his home. Services will be 1:30 Monday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Red Wing, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Homes, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church one hour prior to the services. Ronald G. Nelson was born on January 9, 1937 in Red Wing. He married June Banick on April 30, 1960 in Lake City. He had worked for McQuay International in Faribault and was a member of the Faribault Pheasants Forever. He is survived by his wife, June; four children; six grandchildren; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials are preferred to St. Pauls Lutheran Church building fund or Fairvview Red Wing Hospice.
